This immediately became one of my favorite spots in the country. I can't praise this place enough. From the bartender who... actually learned my name, and remembered it the next week, to the fantastic food and killer drinks, and even the gnarly lightingand design, this place really, truly has it all and makes Houston heights just that much better. It is a must-visit if you're inthe area. Trust me. Read more

I love this place because it?s consistently great food, great drinks, great service, and has a dog friendly patio. It?s well... known that the bars on Yale St. have a heavy pour and their cocktails are always on point, but not everywhere is dogfriendly. My fave meal here is the Party Melt, a fun take on the patty melt with the crust cut off the bread, the bread grilledwith mustard on the outside of the sandwich, a juicy ground beef patty smothered with cheese, grilled onions, and a sauce madefrom ketchup and mayo. We also got the Hot Dog Sandwich with crusts cut off the bread and hot dogs covered in grilled red onionsand Dijon mustard. The hot dogs were grilled a little too long. The French fries were crispy and hot, but could use a littleless salt. I love my fries salty, but my wife and I were both brushing off salt to eat them. I got my two favorite drinks, LongStory Short ? a gin based cocktail with passion fruit and a slice of dehydrated lemon, and a Cold Fashioned ? a typical oldfashioned, but with piloncillo for sweetness, orange peel, and served in a Tom Collins glass with ice. They were perfect for asunny, but breezy fall day in Houston. I?ve always sat on the patio or under the awning outside, so I can?t speak to what it?slike inside but there?s a full bar inside and tables you can sit at. The bathrooms are clean with two individual room stalls andthey have a QR menu or you can Google it. Better Luck Tomorrow is one of those Houston places that stays on your list ofpermanent faves. I visited this place for the first time recently and I really liked it. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Italian beef... sandwich was great and the Amethyst Hour cocktail was super refreshing on a hot summer day. I'll definitely be back. Read more

Fantastic drink called ?Long Story Story? (gin martini w/ passion fruit) that was perfectly balanced and not sweet. We got the... beets, fried pickles and octopus & shishito peppers to start. All were great but the beets were perfect on a hot day. I got theKorean Chopped Salad and it was delicious. Read more

Excellent fairly priced cocktails and wonderful atmosphere. Our wait for a table of 6 was very quick, we had a nice server, and... enjoyed the food. Some favorite cocktails were Intelle, Accident Count, and Train Your Granny. There are also great weekdaydeals, I will be returning for pasta on Tuesdays! The fries were great, and come with good sauce. The Party Melt was deliciousbut a little salty. Read more

You want a place with a positive and young atmosphere? Come here! The drinks are marvelous, specially the Irish coffee and the... draft beers... and the pancakes are one of the best we've tried. Will definitely be back again for a weekend brunch! Read more

Came in during lunch time to try the famous party melt. The place wasn?t busy at all. The service is great here and the music... playing was awesome. The melt itself was ok. It was pretty salty and the meat wasn?t spectacular. I was expecting more than justbar food but it ended up being just that. The toast used for the melt was pretty good tho. Definitely come for the bar andservice but maybe not the food Read more
