Very good! Somehow I've lived in the loop for 10 years and never tried this spot. Got the grilled chicken sandwich with their... Pesto pasta salad. All of it great! Paulie?s is so lovely. They have a pretty large menu. It is counter service. They ask you order before sitting down. They offer... speciality items everyday. This place gets very busy and has parking behind it. The meatball sliders are awesome as well as allthe salads. They cook all the proteins perfectly. The grilled salmon was better than I expected. Very tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were also fantastic, and... honestly the star of the show. The only thing I was not impressed by was the broccoli. It was bland, and unspectacular. Still, Iwould recommend this restaurant as the service was great and the food is very good for the price! I recently took my mum to Paulie's for her birthday for a late lunch/early dinner. The menu is simple with just enough items to... cater to different taste without being overwhelming. There is also a menu with specials of the day. I had the GrilledPortobello Sandwich and my mum had the Chicken Breast with Mushroom Entree. Looking at my sandwich, I wasn't sure I would likeit (the mushroom looked dry), but it was really good with nice flavor and juiciness. The red bell peppers and goat cheese wasperfect, not over powering in taste. It all complicated each other. My mum said her chicken breast was tender and nicelyflavored, as well as the potatoes and broccoli. We were both very pleases with your meal. Hope to try a pizza next visit. Read more
