Went last night for the first time, sat us at the closest booth to the kitchen and quite literally had at least a dozen baby... house roaches crawling over the salsa plates, silverware, and table. I've been using this company for almost 2 years now to cater lunch for our clients. John has the best communication and they... always arrive on time, fully set up, and make sure the food is still hot and fresh before leaving. Do not go! This place is terrible, the food is very mediocre, it is not excellent at all, eat much better in a food truck,... believe me! And now it turns out that it has a new owner who has unconsciously increased the prices, my friends and I bought abottle of Absolut vodka whose regular price is between $18 to $28, they charged us $200 in this place!! and a month ago afriend ordered a bottle of Buchannan's scotch whiskey for which they charged $145 and now for the same bottle they charge you$320. It is literally a robbery. We don't recommend it to anyone, it was a terrible experience for us to have to overpay in anabsurd way in a place that is not worth it, the only good thing is the band that plays on Fridays but you can go see them onTuesdays at Five Central. Elegant birthday dinner for 20 people on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm. Great food and service. Management made the reservation... process easy. Everyone was very attentive. The waitress was very patient and helpful understanding the menu. The food did nottake long to come out. The drinks ???????? were top notch! The site closes at 9pm but was patient while we finished. I just can?t give enough great stars to Cantina Laredo. Every experience I have ever had through the doors of this business have... been beyond excellence. The staff - every person that has ever helped me has always been attentive, happy to be there. Thedecor matches the menu with a lot of Mexican/Spanish influence. The menu is fantastic! The carnitas bowl is my favorite. Theguacamole is made fresh table side. You have got to try the queso?and those chips - just WOW! The drinks - I recently created alist of best margaritas in Houston and Cantina Laredo is number one on that list. The bar is gorgeous. They have a stage andwill have a live band on certain nights - it?s pure fun! What makes all of these elements dance together is the management -John loves his restaurant and his dedication to delivering a solid product and experience shows in the success of his business.He is a true pillar of the community. That was the worse customer experience and Mexican food I have ever had! I ordered a chicken tortilla soup which is 9-10$ and... what came to me was literally just nothing but liquid. They didn?t even attempt to fix it. The manager was notified, yet hedidn?t do anything to remedy the situation. I ended up asking for just charro beans and rice. The rice was absolutelydisgusting. The beans were old? the salsa was awful! My stomach was not happy after eating their food! I came here thinking itwas going to be a great experience due to the great reviews.
