For the most part Denny's, is Denny's, is Denny's. This Denny's being a part of a truck stop at least has three good size TVs... that they keep on all the time and at least one of them is on Fox News which is what I like to look at when I'm at a restaurantsomewhere as opposed to some sports thing which really doesn't interest me but does interest other people and they have a TVthat they keep on sports. The service here is good and they are friendly and attentive. I sometimes have breakfast at Denny'sbut this particular trip I had my regular standby for when I want to get something to go there which is the Cali club and thefries. Also they have the apple crisp and ice cream which a lot of their stores no longer carry. I will eat here again... Read more
Enjoyed dining in last Sunday. Really enjoyed the food and service but the host (I believe his name was Ashton) really made my... family and I feel comfortable he was very pleasant, helpful, and really attentive. We will definitely be back. Read more
I like Denny's. The food is great. And the people is very Friendly.
The entrance is in gas station store, so it's little bit confused when you walked in. Staffs are friendly, they make you feel... welcome. I like the appetizer l ordered (l think the name is strawberry pancake ball), only $1.99 for 6 pieces, they were crispyoutside and soft inside. Omelettes was alright, but l had better one at different locations. Don't order steak over there! Wemade a mistake for ordering it, it tasted awful. Also, l think on menu says the hot chocolate is free refill too, but when weasked for refill, the waitress told us that she will give us refill for free, just don't let anyone know. So I'm kinda confusedabout it, I'm not sure if it's free refill or she told us that because she wants more tip. Overall, it's a good location for onetime eating, not recommend it if you are local. I'm not a fan of Denny's food per say but it is consistent though the quality of the food has decreased in the past 20 years. ... Anyway, I'm at this Denny's N Fwy, Houston, it's 1am. I'm tired and hungry. I stood for a while to be seated even thoughemployees were floating around the place. Then, this guy named Joe decided to step up to the plate and help me. I just want tosay, that this Joe guy is a gem! He made sure I was seated then waited on me because no one else is accountable for their jobs? I don't know, not my problem. However, I just want to commend this guy who was one of the best employees I've seen in a longwhile. People just aren't accountable anymore, it's unfortunate. But, there's usually a gem somewhere in the mix. Denny's,your gem is Joe. We talked for a bit, what a great guy! He's seen many trials and tribulations but shines like a star. ThanksJoe! P. Food was alright. My waitress after bringing my food never came back to check on me. I wanted water. I ordered coffee with my... meal but, seems like if you don't ask for water you won't get any. She didn't even bring my check ???? I just went up to theregister and the cashier went and got my check from Jasmine or Jackie, which ever was her name. She was polite but took a minuteto come to my table and take my order then just never came back to check on me so I left her .76cents tip. Your tips reflectyour service! Hostess lady was rude. Asked my to get my own menu & silverware and find me a seat. 10 minutes later she comes with an attitude... telling me to move because she had closed that section. So why tell me to find a seat???? She was just plan rude. I know shewasn?t racist? but rude. Thankfully another waitress took my order! Read more
