Visited with my wife and kids. Had a nice dining experience on the patio. We ordered the Paella El Meson, it was too tomato-ey... and not much flavor so it was okay, not bad but not good. We had two tapas and they were pretty good. They did not have a kid'smenu or kid items so there were no options for the kids. Their wine list was very extensive and nice. Read more

This place surprised me delightfully. The meat was wonderfully tender, salad was fresh, and the service was great. You could... tell they emphasize ingredient quality above all else. The presentation could be better, but does it really matter as long as ittastes good? Pricey, but delicious. Worth a stop for any traditional Spanish enjoyers. Read more

I went there with my family (5), the menu was simple so we ordered tapas and paella. For the tapas we ordered 5 (one each), no... one told us that they were gonna bring a little dish with 6 pieces of bread IN TOTAL! Can you imagine? Now for the paella, theprice is 34 per person and the mimun order is 2, so they might as well change the menu and just specify that the price is 64.The quality of it was regular, the flavor was ok. (The rice was sticky). Honestly I have had better paella’selsewhere. Restaurant is good but they have many areas of opportunities. Read more

Great paella, and of course I forgot a pic--you do have to order for 2 though, so if you want paella, plan accordingly. Ours... was great! We did have some sublime ceviche, and nice croquettes too, as tapas, and the wine list is serviceable. The flan wasworth the order for dessert. Next time, I'm going to try one of the Cuban entrees and my wife is going to hit a fish entree with a few tapas more too. Can't wait to return to Houston, as we live in Austin. Read more

We stumbled into this place while visiting Rice Village over spring break. The Cubano was delicious! The Bread a good... consistency, their take on pork was juicy and flavorful, and the pickles didn't over power the sandwich. I highly recommend thefried plantains as a side. Read more

It was wonderful to try gazpacho. It was very good. Paella was wonderful. It's European and Cuban food at its best.

I was pleased with my visit here. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The Cuban food and tapas were especially good. I really... like the ropa vieja, lechón asado, the lamb, and of course the cortadito Cuban coffee. All are plates we ordered came with asmall salad, needless to say we left very full. I'm looking forward to returning. Read more
