Staff is friendly, service about average, food quality is not good, the Pupusas lack of filling, we ordered Bean and cheese and... hardly had filling and were mainly beans and no cheese. Like if they are trying to maximize profits by cutting down in qualityand ingredients. Most of Salvadorian restaurants in Veterans Memorial are about the same. There are other better restaurants outthere. Read more

Awful, awful customer service. The first time came in with my family it took forever to eat. The pupusas were good but I think... we waited two hours. I figured it was my first time it deserve another shot.I went last week with my mom to order some "riguas"the lady at the cash register was rude and seemed irritated/annoyed when we asked if they sold it alone instead of as a meal. Iwill never come back and plan to call the manager to complain because if you're not happy with your job find another one. Do nottake it out on the customers. I would never eat there again awful customer service. Read more

They messed up on my order bringing me the wrong pupusa. The service was really slow and by the time she got to our table... obviously the wrong pupusa was half eaten. We told her and she later brought us the correct order. At the very end, she chargedus for an extra pupusa that I didn?t even want. Food wasn?t bad, but there is better honest places than this place. Love thedecor, not so much the love given towards guests. I probably won?t be back after this experience. Read more

First and last time eating here. The rice pupusas were hard. They're supposed to be soft, even softer than corn flour pupusas.... And the masa from the tamales was undercooked and the meat in the tamal was not tasty at all. We also ordered fried plantainsand to our surprise had 6 small pieces of plantains arrive... for $6.79 an order? I've never been to a restaurant where theyserve such a small portion for such a price. Definately better options out there for pupusas, plantains, and tamales. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected appetizer! It was a dip-able (is that even a word ?? Haha) fried dough strips... with this delicious green salsa. Yummy!! Typically, the Salvadorian places don?t include an appetizer like this. We ordered thepupusas 1revuelta & 1bean & cheese. Both really tasty!! Great flavor, authentic, & delicious. We also ordered the huevos conchorizo plate with homemade tortillas. Typically huevos con chorizo come with just the chorizo but these came with green bellpeppers & onion. A nice surprise but if you?re allergic be sure to let them know. The restaurant itself is very clean, modernfixtures, service was great. Also, good to note that they have reasonable prices. Will definitely come back for their pupusas!! Read more
