I've come to this marble slab 3 times over the last year. The first time consisted of my order being messed up. The second time,... the ice cream was bad enough that my fiance and myself were sick for 2 days. The third and final time, I was given a small stalewaffle bowl in a small cup, instead of the normal large cup that is served at every other location. The waffle bowl bent as Itried to break it into smaller pieces. I was charged $20 for 2 tiny waffle bowls, this location is a scam. Read more
Third time coming to this location, definitely the last time. The first they gave me the wrong ice cream, twice (I asked for... mint mixed with chocolate they gave me pistachio). But maybe they were having a bad day so we went back a second time the icecream tasted like it was made with bad water or something. This time we went because they were the only one open and it had beena few months since the last few incidents I asked for a chocolate dipped wafflebowl and the bowl didn't even fit in the cup, wasin a small bowl, and she put less than a scoop compared to litteraly every other marble slab, and I asked for two flavors!Normally I don't mind when things are stale but the bowl was so stale I ended up throwing it away. :( Read more
I had purchased a Groupon voucher and decided to treat the kids and have a Banana Split in honor of my dad. This was our first... visit to this location and it was a little busy (4:45pm on a Sunday). They did have it clean and inviting. The two guys werevery polite. They didn?t wear gloves and I did bring it up to them. One gentleman told me that he couldn?t accept my voucherbecause they stopped accepting them a few years ago. I said; ?Sir, it?s your address for the voucher.? He said that I shouldhave asked first and I asked him why should I if this is your address. I will not be visiting this location again. This location is an absolute dump! Several of the ice creams were mislabeled and all were, roughly, half melted. Certainly not... within the proper temperature holding range. Aside of the ice cream being mislabeled, almost all of the "mix-ins" weremislabeled as well. Everything was filthy, the cones and waffle bowls where as stale as they come, and I saw trash on top of anice cream. Based on my experience I'd say that these people do not practice any sort of disipline in regards to safety andsanitation or hospitality for that matter. The staff were the least hospitable people I've encountered in an establishment likethis. We went into this place in great spirits and left fairly disappointed. I've work as a chef and hospitality professionalfor almost 15 years and I have had plenty of bad experiences in my travels and have never felt compelled to write a review untilnow. I truly hope that the managers of this establishment increase their efforts to better their business and our industrybecause, currently, they're failing themselves and their customers. Read more
