I had the wings as an appetizer then catfish and red beans & rice as an entree, and y'all...it was the wings for me! I had the... Nashville flavor (not at all to be confused with Nashville hot). Catfish was impressive because of the perfectly crisp coating.The red beans & rice was decent. Had to add some flavor and spice once I got it home. I tried to call in advance but was left on hold too long. That should have been an indication of service. The location on... highway 6 is small. By my error I went to the Pickup window. Ordered my food and after a ten minute wait was told to pull upsince multiple car behind me me were into the street. After 35 minutes, I went inside. The cashier said he was the manager andonly offered an apology ???? The restaurant was not busy, but served everyone but me while in the parking lot. I saw themanager go back to the kitchen and have my order made. After 5 more minutes or so my order was ready. I ordered the bowl ofseafood gumbo which has crab, sausage and shrimp with white rice on the side. The dark tint to the gumbo almost looked burnt. I was not impressed. Actually I wanted to hate everything based on the absolutely abysmal service. But the 3 piece fish withfries was so fresh and tasty it had to bump from 1 to 2 stars. I told the manager before I ordered that it was my first visit.And when I left I told him who never offered his name, that I would never come back. Venture there with caution ?? Read more
Delicious! First time for us and we will definitely come back. Service from the moment you walk in to being served and exiting... was impeccable and everyone was so friendly. The food selection was great and the flavor of it all was amazing. Read more

It wasn't busy, waiters were wearing masks and were friendly. We tried the gumbo which was delicious. We also tried the wings,... and those were pretty good, only thing with that is that you can only do 1 flavor in an order of 10, that was the only downside.Other than that I definitely recommend this place. Maybe my standards are too high as a Louisiana native. OR maybe this to go order was a miss. Maybe when you dine in you have... better quality crawfish. First visit at this restaurant, I saw the great reviews but was disappointed. These crawfish hadprobably been sitting somewhere all day. They were over saturated to the point that the shell would hardly peel. Won't be goingback. Boil house in midtown gets my vote. Read more

Fun seafood restaurant! I stopped in for take-away and it's a festive restaurant. I ordered the crawfish etouffee and the trio... fried rice. Both were good. The bread was a little lacking on crispiness or flavor. It's worth a stop if you like seafood. Read more
