I grew up eating James Coney Island and this was an extreme disappointment. I ordered the Hungry Man Combo for lunch and I get... to the window to find they don't have the large drinks for it, you think since they are out of the large cup they would lowerthe price or give you 2, 20 oz cups, WHAT A RIPOFF. The beef dogs were under cooked-very chewy/firm like rubber and lackedflavor, were cold, they were using the chili to make them hot but were luke warm/cold. I believe the franchise owner needs tobe removed and replaced with someone who truly cares and run the place like a tight ship. Perhaps I should contact the healthinspector. Also the website has no corporate contact so we can file complaints. If you want to stay in business you must makeeverything to the best quality like it was 30 years ago. Chili on my frito pie wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese. Only one bottle of hot sauce. Three bottles of mustard total on the... tables. Some tables had ketchup, some had salt and some had salt & pepper. No metal spoons available by the forks & knives. Itold employee there were none out here, and asked for one. I got a plastic spoon. Best kept secret...I probably have passed by this place a thousand times, but never tried it...Well, I went a few days ago and... definitely two thumbs up! Old school service with a smile, good prices for quality food and I would recommend for lunch (ordinner) as the service was swift but done correctly. Hat tip to the staff @ Guessner and Tidwell! How about a light snack after your shopping spree? Try the chocolate covered ice cream cone. It is soft and refreshing. Maybe... next time you will eat a quick lunch. Lots of items on menu. Would of given it 5 stars but remembering what happened a few years ago whilst dinning made me hesitant, anyhow the food by far... has been mostly great on a few occasions it was a bit overcooked. But this jci drive through is pretty good they don't take toolong and food is usually cooked well . As far as what happened a while back I can recall eating there with my friend andeverything was going well but I noticed the main manager looking at me strange & then mumbled some words at his work crew aboutme & Mt friend, am sure it was something rude not cool . You wouldn't think it so but the hot dogs here are really good, and sometimes a hot dog is a nice way to mix things up over a... burger. The toppings and even variety of buns make things more interesting than typical fast food, and it's not as greasy.Underrated American food chain. Clean restaurant, extremely friendly staff, and very delicious hot dog. I was the only one dining in the store, which was a... relaxing experience. The Christmas music choices on the stereo were not the usual choices. I was a bit shocked by how small thehot dog was for a $4 price tag. It was very tasty, but I was expecting it to be bigger than a hot dog I could buy at the grocerystore. Overall a pleasant and nice experience. Great location close to the freeway. Read more
