I have to say that it really breaks my heart to have to give this review, but it needs to be said. We had ordered online several... times from this place, the ceviche is the best in town, and the chicken too, but one Saturday being out with the family westopped at the restaurant to eat. While we were waiting to pay I saw walking behind the lady at the register, inside the areawhere the food is prepared THE BIGGEST RAT I have ever seen in my life. I struggled to say this, because I really liked theplace and the people, but of course we will not eat or order from there again, as this could really be a very dangerous placegiven that those animals are all over where food is. Chicken is delicious. The steamed vegetable were over cooked & soggy, the beans, fries, & plantains we?re all bland and just ok.... Customer service was poor as I walked in and stood in front of the cashier and she completely ignored me until I addressed her.Will likely Order the chicken again but we?ll probably make our own side dishes. We love Peruvian style rotisserie chicken. So we were excited to try this restaurant after reading such great reviews. The... service was definitely fast and friendly. Our wait time was short. We felt the menu was well priced and offered a niceselection. We enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. Not the best we've had though definitely one of the betterone's in Houston. The fried plantains were also delicious and done right. The disappointment for us was the sauces and ourside dishes. Such an important part of the meal. These definitely didn't hit the spot. Our fried rice was unfortunately blandand dry. Our fries were barely warm, and appeared to be a combination of old stale fries fresh with some new fries on the top. The restaurant also could be much cleaner. It felt dirty. Our search for the best Peruvian chicken restaurant in Houstoncontinues!
