I love Brochstein for it?s beautiful indoor space and tasty food but the music here is so obnoxious. Not only is it way too... loud, it doesn?t fit the ambience at all. The drinks are pretty overpriced and don?t taste as good as Starbucks to be honest butit?s the closest option for Rice students. They could also use more outlets inside. Read more

This place is located on rice campus. Plenty of seating inside and outside to enjoy beverages, food, study, or mingle with... friends. Breakfast is served all day and hands down the ricotta toast sub for fig jam was amazing! You get 2 toast for $7. Yum,yum, yum!!! I did have the pistachio latte iced and it was refreshing for the summer heat. They have Soo many syrup flavors tochoose from to add to your coffee or tea =) Want to minimize plastic waste!? I brought my own 16 oz insulated mug. They willfill it up with whatever you order. Read more
The people working here are so nice (shoutout to the person who made the kind effort to get my name right), and they have... interesting food options! I like the cauliflower grilled cheese. One thing to note is that it can get a bit busy around 12pmduring the school year! Read more
Really liked their Portbella Black Bean Burger. The place can get very busy during lunch hours though!
The staff is super friendly and great atmosphere! I come here to study every day. The coffee is always delicious and every time... I get the food, I am not disappointed. The cauliflower grilled cheese is one of my favorites! Read more
Got a banana, coffee, and bagel. Was pretty much disregarded by the staff member behind the counter. The banana was overripe... mush and there was only a single banana to choose from. Ok so?I think y?all need to ask customers whether they want their food warmed up or not because everytime I go in here and ask... for a croissant?it?s warmed up to a crisp. Practically inedible, and you feel like you can?t ask for another one because theworkers look like they might fight you, if you so much as look in their direction.
