Not only is the food here great, but they have a great staff! I have been there many times and they are always friendly and... provide good service. I recently had an issue with Postmates, it had nothing to do with Tios, it was a Postmates problem, butAlfredo and Sasha were so kind and helpful offering multiple resolves when they didn?t have to at all. I ordered over the phone for pick up and was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. Upon entering the establishment fifteen... minutes after placing my order, a nice young man greeted me and told me my order was not ready which was completely fine. Fiveminutes later, this lady in a yellow shirt comes running out and being quite aggressive asked me what the name for the orderwas. The young man tried telling her that it wasn?t ready and she ignored him so I told her and she told me it wasn?t ready. Iwas waiting by the door out of the way of everyone and the entrance and exit. She told me to wait outside. Mind you it is a hotday. I am in no way confrontational so I waited outside, and naturally she forgot about my order, but the whole time she wasjust so rude to the young man. He was just doing his job. I will not be returning to this location due to the way they treattheir workers. Let?s be nicer to the employees and give them a chance rather than being a bully. Read more
The food is consistently great, and prices are much more reasonable than a lot of other Mexican restaurants in the area.... Margaritas are wonderful and taste freshly made. Highly recommend the Golden Tacos- Only $13 and they have incredible hardshells. Read more
What I don?t understand is the night and day difference between the food at the Los Tios on San Felipe and this Los Tios. It?s... a different restaurant I understand, but the food should taste the same. That?s a given, I believe - but not here. Read more

I have to say? a friend and I met for happy hour at Los Tios Mexican Restaurant at Tanglewilde/Westheimer and had an awesome... time? I had ?1? margarita and it was so strong ( not the typical weak and watery happy hour version that one finds at otherrestaurants)AND they have a new manager, 26!! year old Alfredo? he was wonderful, attentive and talked to us for a long time. Iwas very impressed! and its just a few blocks from where I live! ?????? I recommend Los Tios. for great Tex-Mex, $5 margaritas,super location, wonderful staff and Alfredo! remarkable young man doing such a great job at only 26! and running a Houstonlandmark restaurant.
