This is a good location in Spring Branch. Long Point at Gessner. The dining room and restrooms are very clean and... sanitized. The servers and kitchen staff are very good. We came for lunch on a Wednesday. It had a good crowd. Our server tookour order not long after we sat down. And our food was served in about 10 minutes. The food was plentiful and delicious. Our waitress, Josefine was great. She was very attentive to our needs. The manager, Miriam came by our table to make sure how... our food was and asked if we needed anything . We have been eating at this Mambos for at least 15 years. We love it!!! Read more

First I?d like to say Lesley was an amazing server, thanks chica! I ordered Ceviche to start off as an appetizer and it was sooo... fresh. Plus, it was my friends first time trying it and she enjoyed it for her first experience. My friend ordered the empanadasand they were so freaking gooood ????. I had the grilled shrimp meal, I added a stuffed crab and instead of the shrimp thatcame with meal I added the mambo shrimp ???? DELICIOUS!! I also had a mango lava for my drink ( non alcoholic). Everything wasfresh and adored my service from sweet Lesley or Les . I WILL BE BACK AT THIS LOCATION ???????? Read more
We love Mambo's, but we will not be back to this one! Service is very slow! We were constantly out of drinks and had to flag our... waitress down! We have been stuck here for 2 hours & still counting because apparently our waitress left & didnt bother toinform us and other servers aren't happy to serve other tables than theirs. Manager is no where in sight! Still waiting on ourticket to be brought to us with our take out as well. So dont bother wasting your time at this location because you'll have towait hours to just be waited on! Will definitely be sticking with our regular location fron now on! Read more
Yes! I love the Mambo?s shrimp. It?s so good ever time I get it. Plus the oysters were so big! We also got the fried rice... special. It was full of big chunks of chicken, pork, and shrimp . This location is big and spacious. We love the atmosphere. Read more
First time here after moving from California. Great food, huge servings, gigantic drink sizes. The horchata was pretty sweet but... refreshing, the bacon wrapped shrimp were super flavorful, the rice was similar to perfectly dry with individual grains but wellseasoned. My friend had some type of shrimp gumbo. She liked it. Will return. The bathrooms were not so clean and some surfacesfelt sticky, so one star off for that, but great service. Not too fast, not too slow. We both didn?t eat the dinner roll as wehad too much fried rice, but the grilled veggies were fresh and the Mexican street corn side (half a cob) was great.
