Drove 30 mins for my pickup order for them to give me the wrong order. Was disappointed when I got home to wrong food. Food is... good but I drove a good ways for what I wanted. Took a good while to get someone to hand me my order also. Wasn't too busy justeveryone talking and not paying attention UPDATE: I HAVE TO GIVE A SPECIAL THANKS TO MARIA THE GEN MANAGER AT MAMBOS. SHERESPONDED TO MY REVIEW ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. TOLD ME TO COME IN AND GET MY NEW ORDER AND EVEN UPGRADED AND GAVE US A FEW GIFTCARDS. I AM VERY PLEASED TO SEE SUCH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Waitress was respectful. We got the bill and asked her to split it with our two cards. She came back and told us her manager... helped her with making the split payment. Come to find out she came with one receipt only solely under that other person. Noreceipt was printed for me. The bill was 100. Divide that bill in half you expect 50 for the other person and 50 for me. Nope. Ichecked my bank account they charged me 100 for the whole thing and 50 for the other person. Making the overall bill we paidfor 150 when the actual restaurant bill only 100!! We asked to speak to the manager. She was very disrespectful coming at uswith harsh attitude. Forcing us to understand that they will refund me the 50 bucks back. And that she made the mistake of doingthe payments but the kicker was if she made the mistake why not speak to us and tell us I mest up. Nope she thought we wouldn'tnotice. But we did and we called her out on it. Oh she did apologize for but that wasn't it she also said that this has happenedmany times about the messing up payments part. So overall she mest up on the payment taking a grand total of 150 dollars on asimple 100 dollar bill. She took out 100 from me and 50 from the other person. I am still watching my bank account often to seethis so called 50$ she said that they will refund me. The Waitress was very nice and respectful. All of this happened yesterdayaround 4 pm. Read more

My experience was so what not satisfied with the food being that the shrimp was so thin that it was more bread than shrimp and... the fried rice was overseasoned. We talked with a waitress and the waitress had to get a manager to speak with us but themanager was trying to give us a discount (which was only 20% just for the fried rice). The manager told us 30% but ended up onlybeing discounted 15% when we got the receipt. Read more

The food and service were amazing! The empanadas are the best I have ever had. We ordered at least 8 or 9 items from the menu... between the 3 of us and there wasn't one item that we did not love! It is a very popular spot and stays busy. But, that does notaffect the great service. Our server was Breyana and made our 1st Mambo experience even more enjoyable!! Great Food! Love the portions too $$$ ratio.. can?t beat their fried rice. Not a fast food location they cook it for you and if... comes out hot and delicious. Always on my Houston list. Read more
