We went for happy hour. The place was busy and we had to ask for service. Drinks took awhile to come to our table but all of the... variety that we ordered were really good. Happy hour food is great and their tuna offerings are delicious. The food came outmuch quicker than the drinks. The staff, including the bar manager, were attentive once we were able to place our orders,helpful and accommodating. They made our evening pleasant. We recommend this place for a distinctive, relaxing happy hour eventhough the prices are a bit higher than expected. Read more

Hard to review this place. The wait was ridiculous over 2 hours to get dinner. The appetizers and food were amazing pry the... best filet migon I have ever had. But the end result of the raw oysters didn't taste or feel so good coming back up later.. Soif you don't mind waiting 2+ hrs for dinner and want the best filet I'd go here. McCormick & Schmick's is always a treat, but this location is the best! M&S is upscale with fantastic food, relaxed energy,... quiet atmosphere and 5-star service. The large patio is beautifully staged with comfortable cushion seating and TVs all around.Fans hang above for those warmer days in Houston. There is a main dining area inside along with a large bar section with hightop tables. The bar has multiple large screen TVs for viewing sports or whatever you request. We sat at the bar to watch theAstros game. Mike was our server. He immediately waited on us with ice water and offered suggestions on wines. We split a bottleof red and also split the ribeye with asparagus. The wine was a good pick and the ribeye, oh my! Best ribeye I've ever had, nolie! This location is right outside of City Center. It is literally on the corner before entering the congestion of City Center.I'm not a big fan of CC because of the compact establishments, but I do like the outer skirts with the finer restaurants. Youknow stepping into M&S's your experience is going to be great. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, tables immaculately set,restrooms were well tended and all of the staff were accommodating. Perfect ambience, incredibly great hosts staff(considering it was Mother's day). The service was delightful, the food was... incredible and it was a great visit. Food details, the seafood gumbo, needed a roux, (it was pretty thin). Just an opinion, buttypically sausage and challots are not found in a seafood gumbo. What a great find!!! The lobster bites and shrimp kisses were to die for!! Don't even get me started on those thick, juicy... steaks that were cooked to perfection!! Our server was well versed on her menu and super attentive! I would recommend to anybodywith ears! Read more

The steaks were fantastic, and we ended up having some Pineapple dessert that should be illegal it was so good. I took my son... here for his 30th birthday. The food and service was perfect. Be ready to spend a little money if everyone is drinking andhaving dessert, but it is worth it. The cherry ???? mules are great. 5 stars for this trip. Read more

Pretty nice place to dine!! I had the blackened chicken which was delicious, the last 2 slices of chicken had gristle in it or... was kinda rubbery. I’d order it again though!! That sauce was very delicious ! You could see and taste all the spices and ithad great flavor. My wife had the Parmesan Crusted Fish and shrimp and she liked it as well. I’ll give them a 4 star for thelast 2 pieces of chicken having that gristle/ being chewy. Read more
