On 12/5 I was in the Clear Lake area for my work and ordered at the drive through at this location, about 30 minutes before they... closed. I did not notice that when I received my food, I was not given back my debit card. I noticed about an hour later butthe restaurant was closed and I placed a lock on my my card remotely through my bank. I called back after they opened at 6am,and was told they did not see my card but to call back in the afternoon and ask a manager. I called back in the afternoon andprovided my name and the dilemma. I provided my name and the color of the card and the person I talked found the card and readback the correct last last 4 numbers on my card and said they would hold it at the restaurant for me to pick up during businesshours. I live 55 miles away in northwest Houston, but I drove to the restaurant and arrived at 5 am on 12/7 because I have alot of automatic payments tied to the card number and not the account number and was trying to avoid having to get a new cardnumber. I was the first customer in the restaurant for the day, I explained my situation and the manager looked everywhere formy card but it was nowhere to be found, she said she even sent a group text to all of the shift managers, but nobody had repliedthat they knew where my card was. I thanked her for looking. Throughout all of these phone calls and after an hour drive toretrieve the card, no McDonald's employee ever apologized for not returning my card or for the inconvenience of driving an houreach way to try to retrieve the card, nobody offered me a complimentary cup of coffee for my troubles. I know it is ultimatelymy responsibility to keep track of my card, but it is also their responsibility to return in to me. I ordered a new debit cardthis morning and will receive it in a few days. Stop at least three times a week on my way into work for breakfast. Ordered two meals, one with a soda and one with a large... mocha frappe. The kind woman taking my order misheard me on the frappe and I failed to properly check my receipt in my rush.However, when they tried to hand me two sodas I realized the error and asked for the frappe instead. I was moved to the 2ndwindow, told I had to pay the difference for it and had no problem with that. The manager was the one who instructed me on suchand 4 minutes after making me move forward arrived at my window with the frappe at which time I attempted to hand her my cardagain. I was very kind and apologized multiple times for my request. I work in customer service as well and realize it the rushof things sometimes small stuff can put a wrench in your flow and be a tad frustrating so I try to ensure they know I appreciatetheir assistance. However I felt a bit put off by the comments that followed from the managing member and look/tone. I wasinformed she would have to pay for it and could only take cash. A second time she stated she would be paying for it as I askedif she was sure, apologized and even went to say sorry for not having cash on me. I just know that sometimes we, as a companywill take on the cost of things for our customers for the greater good of the situation and I always try to make my customersknow that it is not a burden but rather in respect for their business to begin with. Cleanest McDonald?s I?ve ever been to. The food was hot and fresh even late at night. Seemed to be a new location. Maybe cool... for kids since it has a NASA theme. Read more

Update 8-7-22 (6:40 pm) Nice employees, but I thought the Deluxe Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich came with Cheese, Lettuce,... Tomato? Mine has none of the above. Only spicy sauce & that's it. I guess we need to check for accuracy before drivingaway. Been through this McDonalds a few times now since it recently opened. Extremely good service. Super nice ladies workingthe drivethru window, always making me feel welcome & just simply NICE. Nice smiles. Makes you want to come back. Completeopposite of the Wendy's up the street! Switched from Wendy's to McDonald's as my go-to at night on my way home due to theservice. Read more
