We came here on a Sunday right when they opened at 11am. They get pretty crowded fast. The menu is a mix of typical American... (burgers and tacos) mixed with Southern favorites (chicken fried steak and chicken, fried catfish and shrimp). Meals range from$13-$19 pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get! We were celebrating my dad?s birthday so there was 6 of us. We ordereddifferent things but our food all came out at the same time! Impressive. You order your food at the register and they bring yourfood to your table. FREE REFILLS ON FOUNTAIN DRINKS! I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp. Not the best I had but not bad atall. My only complaint I wish they had a specialty house made remoulade sauce. The tartar sauce was so bland. My dad orderstacos which came with queso and chips. The queso was thick and gooey just how I like it! Kids meals are about $8 comes with adrink and a side. My kids had the cheeseburger and unfortunately if you want extra (like tomatoes, lettuce, bacon) you have torequest it. This establishment is family friendly with a play area at the back of the restaurant for the kiddos to play. Prettycool. Service was great as well. A woman kept approaching our table several times asking if we needed anything! Overall I wouldrecommend this place I will definitely go back to try the tacos! Read more
Customer service was amazing from counter service to food runner to the lady giving bowls of ice cream/soft serve and everyone... between. Food on the other hand, eh... it was okay. It wasn't bad either tho. Read more
Definitely a family friendly place. The food is good. Everything seems to be made from scratch. I had the meat loaf last time I... came and it had a good flavor. No complaints from my wife or kids either. Love that they have an address for the kids to walkaround and play. Gives the parents a little break (or just the opportunity to eat without trying to entertain). Also makes it towhere they don't try to ask for our phones. Read more
Great spot for old school family dinners. One of the most kid friendly places that serves comfort food, malts, shakes, soft... serve ice cream machine for the customers to get as they please! The portions are big enough to share and you will leave fulland satisfied. Read more
Order the Bessie Taco Salad. It was the most cheesy thing I ever ate. There weren?t that much of salad in it. It was... completely covered with cheese. Had a bit of salad on the bottom of the cheese. Meat portion was good. Trying to eatsomething healthy but ended up with something that wasn?t healthy. Overall disappointing dish. Read more
Fantastic New Year?s Eve dinner. Excellent food and very warm service. Steak was properly cooked and I was able to cut it with a... spoon. Suggestion, I would drop the black pepper and season it with salt only. Nevertheless, excellent steak. Read more
First visit. Ordered the cheeseburger with bacon, instead of fries I ordered onion rings. Warmed brownie for dessert. Brownie... was good. Cheeseburger was well seasoned and juicy. Very tasty, will definitely get this again. Onion rings are my favorite.These onion rings were crispy, and really good. They were seasoned and not salty. Just the way I like them.
