This place had my delivery order wrong. I ordered a Chicken Philly with No Mayo and Onion Rings, and I got a Philly Cheesesteak... with no Mayo and Cheese Fries. I really wish people would stop marketing their cheese steaks as famous. Like all the rest this steak was trash. Anyone who says... it's good either is not from Philly or has never been. I think someone even said this is the best in Houston...they must havehad the munchies where anything taste good. I got a better steak from Jersy Mike's on Eldridge. If you're looking for a goodPhilly Cheese steak don't waste your time trying this place. And for the record cheese whiz DOSE NOT go on a Philly cheesesteak...That is a Pat's and Gino's thing. You never saw that at Hoagie City on 40th & Lancaster down the Bottom, Larry's whenthey was up the street from Brook or the spot on 52nd & City Line, Maxx's on Braod & Erie, and definitely not in any of theneighborhood spots. Ate delivery and went against my instincts after realizing my bread was hard and could not bite through the bottom half of the... sandwich after still deciding to eat it top half only the toppings "peppers" looked like cooked celery and carrots! Got the chicken philly with cheese whiz, mushrooms, and hot chili peppers. Fries are yummy. My friend got onion rings but they... are too battered. Food came out surprisingly fast and stayed hot (burned my mouth)! Place is delicious! Read more
I don't like onions, but i do like green peppers. Just be aware, if you ask for no onions you wont get green peppers... Also... I've had way better cheesesteaks. Not too bad. But not the best Read more
