I had the shrimp and scallops orichette pasta. Food was excellent, shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly. The crab was fresh and... tasty. The asparagus was a little woody on the bottom. The pasta was done perfectly and the cream sauce was delicious. Thebruschetta was perfectly toasted. It was very busy so it took a while to get my food out. These people know how to do seafood. This is where you go when you love seafood and pull out all the stops. It?s king eating. We... went for my nephew?s graduation. Great place to celebrate. It?s top dollar. We paid about $35 a $40 per person including drinkand tip, it was excellent. The SHRIMP & CRAWFISH FONDEAUX is from God and it?s just an appetizer. I had to fight not to getfilled up just from that. The fondeaux has a cheesy base so it?s heavy and it?s chocked full of seafood - absolutely amazing. As our appetizer we ordered the fried calamari. We got extra stuff thrown in like muscles, clams and scallops. (I think)... Definitely not just Calmari and there wasn't much in there either. Pretty bland. Sorry forgot to take the pic! I really wish Iwould ordered the mozzarella balls instead. I was not very impressed by the catfish or shrimp. Pretty bland, nothing great. Myhunny had the Crawfish étouffée and he said he would rate it a 4 on a 5 scale and would eat it again. If I were in the airportI would eat at Pappas Burgers instead. Read more

So at first I was mad because I wanted shrimp and grits and it wasn't on the menu, ordered the catfish instead. Wow. Best fried... catfish I've ever had. Wasn't mad anymore. And the portion is very generous! Read more

Besides the fact this Pappadeaux has explosive prices for it being in an airport, our visit was wonderful. We had a big lay over... and decided to sit down, eat, and take our time. Gabriel was our waiter and he was great. He was very friendly, talkative, andpersonable. He always refilled our waters and made sure we were doing okay. He even refilled my water bottle for the flight.(For some reason their water tasted really good). He had zero care in the world that we were sitting down for over an hour and ahalf waiting for our flight. He kept coming around to talk and made sure he didn?t want to rush us. Crawfish plate was deliciousand massive portions. It was an enjoyable lay over despite it being long. Spending a lot of time at Pappadeaux made it go byfast. I am impressed. Read more

The waiter, Gabe, was great, the atmosphere nice. My only complaint was the catfish; it was kinda meh. The oysters and shrimp... and rice were excellent though. My wait to get in was less than ten minutes, but i was by myself. The hours here on Google saythey close at 7pm, but that's only true if there is not many flights coming in.
