I bn going to this place for about 2 months 3 4 times a week. And every time I order something new. Never disappointed. Food... is fabulous and fresh. Costumer service is on point and the vibe is wonderful. Carlos, the owner is friendly and always careabout the service and quality of food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. EVERYTHING IN THE MENU IS TO DIE FOR. DON'T forget to askfor a cortadito with caramel pastry. You won't be disappointed. The dulce de Leche crepes are to die for Read more

5 stars for service, 5 for the appetizer?s (papa huaicana, empanadas), however the main course (churrasco, lomo saltado) was... average. How do you run out of coffee? I would increase to 3.5 if available. Would I eat here again, YES if in the area. Read more

Ordered pollo saltado and papa a la huancaína and they were the worst I?ve ever had. The huancaína sauce was so flavorless,... and everything in the pollo saltado was bland and overcooked. Absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read more

So good!! 10/10 Ceviche and empanadas. Friendly staff and plenty parking. A group of people came here with luggages so we knew... it was either their first or last stop before they head out of town. Houston is so lucky to have a place like this! Read more

Simply 5 plates for 80 dollars and the food was not fresh, everything felt like they took it out of the fridge and put it into... the microwave since the middle was still cold. The anticuchos were ok but considering that I am a Peruvian I would never comeback to this place. Anticuchos of the street in Peru taste way better. I got really disappointed that they even charged me forasking for ?salsa criolla? which is sliced onion with lemon which you usually get with a seco de carne but this place does notadd it to the plate instead charges you 2 dollars for a small portion of criolla onion. In a summary, my dissatisfaction comesfrom the fact that the food was not at all fresh and cold from the inside of the meat or the tamal. Place to visit only one timeand not come back anymore. We really enjoyed our meal at Peru Cafe Express. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had one of each of the... empanadas as an appetizer, which were all really good, but the cheese empanada was our favorite. We will definitely return whenin the area again. Read more
