Took a chance on this one. Overall good ratings but recently, not so much. I'm glad we did. Food was much better than expected.... Not San Diego quality Vietnamese food, but really pretty good. Service was good as well, which is unusual for a pho restaurant! Read more
Theyre under new management !!! New menu with a lot of extra items but I always go for the ph?. Their soup is different compared... to the original owner, tastier and they give more meat (beef tenderloin?) their meat was tender! If you want a good bowl of Ph?,the restaurant will not look pretty or nice ???? They invest in their food quality and taste vs. how nice the restaurant looks?? The husband got Hu Tieu Ap Chao (fried flat noodle with seafoods) and he likes it, he said there is a WOK smell to the noodlewhich makes it good, & authentic and they also give him plenty of foods Read more
The Pho is fantastic! Even better than my home made pho! Seriously, this place is why I don?t make pho at home anymore and drive... 30 minutes every time. Location is near the Vietnamese market so it?s very convenient to run errands and make an excuse for somedelicious pho! Highly recommend! Read more
A few weeks old, newest pho in Town. Upon entering, waited to be seated, I had noticed that she was the only one for entire... restaurant doing all the works. We anticipated this is gonna be awhile since there is only one food server. Food came outsurprisingly fast once we got passed the ordering part. Here are the breakdown scores: Service = 4 Food = 3 1/2 Atmosphere = 31/2 Prices = 2 (it's on a high side compared to other pho places nearby. Hardly any meat in my bowl. mostly broth andnoodles) $10 for a small, $12 medium and $16 for large, isn't kind of high for the area. I believe they are going to a hardtime competing with Pho Thi. Pho 21, Pho Bihn, Pho CoDo & etc. in the same area. CoDo is my favorite in term of taste. However,I will continue my support when I am in the area. Read more
The atmosphere here was very charming! I came here to try a small bowl of pho combination. The broth was alright but I really... liked the meats especially the fatty brisket. It was very tender and juicy. Their veggies were pretty fresh at that time aswell. I would go back to try their other dishes. Read more
