Pokeworks is a great sushi concept. The food is healthy and fresh but it is very expensive. Like outrageous how expensive it is.... I only go there once every couple of months because I couldn't fathom paying those high prices all the time. They also do nottake cash. Had awful service tonight. Was just asking the difference between a few types salt and salt the women who was taking my order... started snapping at me and getting verbally aggressive. They put a wrong topping on my bowl and still charged me extra for itafter I told them it was wrong. To add as I walked in I was about to order and the same women was visibly upset, didn?t ask meif was ready to order, and proceeded to take the person who walked in a few minutes after me order. Basic traditional Pokeworks, tasty flavors, I suggest work more in the atmosphere of the place.
Food is always good here, however the price has gone up. I spent $47 on two regular bowls, a drink, and a water. Don?t remember... it being this expensive last time, but who knows with prices going up for everything. Again, food is good, but I might have tojust make this at home. Read more
The like to wrap the sauce cups in plastic wrap but not snap the lid on fully. This has happened 3 time at this location. I did... call and let them know and they said they were sorry.! Read more
Overwhelmingly surprised at how tasty the food was. This was my first time. Place was so clean, and you get to see how they... prepare your food and they nicely accomodate your requests or your own preference of food preparation. Staff was friendly andsuper helpful. A great Poke place here in the Med center. It's a little pricier compared to what you can get in Chinatown (bigger portions,... more free toppings, etc.). The Poke burrito is definitely worth trying. It's a great "food delivery system". My wife did get amore standard poke bowl which was also good. Read more
I was going to give a 4 star review because our rice had a lot of really hard grains and was dried out, but the fish and... toppings were superb. The customer service here was phenomenal. Declan was super friendly and we were really impressed at hisskill and efficiency. We will definitely come back again. Read more
