Reviews for Pokeworks in Houston, TX
Picked up Pokeworks after not having it for 9 months and was disappointed again. They seem to always leave off things when... ordering online but it?s the most convenient to pick up for lunch during the work week. But last November, they left off theSerrano peppers and barely gave me any greens. This time, no Serrano peppers again and instead of the half rice half salad asrequested, I got all rice. Wish it was the same quality as it used to be! Used to be obsessed with this place. Read more
Would give 0 stars if I could. This location along with the heights location are the worst pokeworks locations to go to. If you... can go to any other locations please take the detour. If I had one world to describe the owner who owns/works here, it would bestingy. They give significantly less fish and Ingredients here. When you say something they tell you they?ll charge extra eventhough they don?t give you the required amounts. I always ask for extra sauce on the side(every location I go) and was given asmall container 1/4th filled and I asked if he could add more and he told me it would be extra I have not had one locationcharge me extra other than this one and the heights one. It?s funny because a bowl is already 19$ here without any add ons andthey have the audacity to charge you for some sauce that they put on the bowl anyways. They claim they have different rules inthis location because the owner is different. In the last six months, this locations price from a large bowl went from about16.50 to 18$ to 19$ today, citing supply chain issues. In other locations the price of a large bowl is not that much based onrecent visits. It?s really weird for a chain to price differently than other locations. Read more
Had ahi tuna bowl and it was really good. The tuna tasted good and I like that Pokeworks has flavor level (sauce portion); once... I got a bowl drenched at another poke place. I tried "light" ponzu today and I liked it. The service was fast and friendly andthe place was clean. Read more
Reliable place but pricey. I love poke bowls but today?s lacked the pizazz. I tried to pay cash but they wouldn?t take it. He... said normally there is a sign on the door but it wasn?t and he said that. He saw there was no sign. I also included a photowithout the sign. ???? Read more
I was delivering for Uber eats when I discovered this gem! I told the guy at the counter I was a Poké newbie and he helped me... with suggestions, I ended up with a beautiful, delicious bowl that was full of color! I tried a few things that I?d never hadbefore and everything was amazing! I will definitely be back! The customer service is great, food is great, and the place wasclean! FYI they are cashless now so heads up, but they have Apple Pay as well! Read more
Had poke two days in a row because it was so good... ???? I always recommend build your own and add as much toppings as... possible. Ginger is a must! And the seaweed salad! And sweet onion! Omg, add all the vegetable toppings! + salad base!! Read more
Came in to try and had a good experience all around. The facility was clean and orderly. The price was a bit on the high side... , but that may be location. Food is always a tad more in nicer areas of town. I tried the Umami classic and I thought it wasprepared well. The portions seemed ample. And the flavor was very good. The unique thing I have found about this restaurant istheir rice is a bit warmer than others I've been to. The service was good and I would definitely recommend this for a nicelunch. Read more
Really good! But don?t come in expecting a cheap lunch lol. It was $18 for a bowl and drink, which I understand because... everything was so fresh/tasty! Definitely will be coming back. Read more
