We got out of a water polo tournament of my sons team, we hit Prima Italian restaurant 30 minutes before closing we did not know... but our server he was horrible he was rushing us the whole time and very rude the place is very nice but maybe will not go backbecause of the service. They could’ve just let us know that they were closing and we would not bother to stay. Read more

Prima Pasta was a very nice discovery. As a New York Italian I look for places that give a little bit of the feel of some of the... small family style restaurants we had in Brooklyn. The restaurant area was clean and cosy with seating inside, but also a cutearea outside to enjoy the nice weather while having a good meal. The food was very tasty, but not overdone. One deliciousrecommendation for appetizer was the pistachio crusted shrimp (see photo)- delicious and the shrimp were done perfectly. Lovedthe Aglio Olio, very well prepared with enough garlic, only comment would be to add a bit more olive oil - but I like a bitmore. Brought some nice memories of my childhood dinners. The pasta carbonara with salmon was fantastic- salmon done perfectlyand was moist and delicious. Only suggestion would be to go lighter on the carbonara sauce on the pasta and place some in asmall bowl for placing on top of the salmon. The deserts were also delicious. A definite recommendation would be the Italiancream cake. The dining areas were very clean and open. The bathrooms were one each of a men’s and woman’s room. Thebathrooms were clean and seemed like they were attended to regularly. Overall this was a nice find for a fun family meal or aninformal get together with friends. Thanks to the nice waitstaff - we really enjoyed the experience. Read more

The authentic Italian restaurant that's family oriented and ran with perfection to please its customers all the way around!... Boris has been our waiter nearly every time we have visited and he's made our dining experience outstanding . The food issuperb, cooked to perfection. The Prima Pepperone is marvelous, as well as the Prima Campagna. We just had it for lunch, evenafter eating salads with grilled shrimp last night. Our trips to the doctor take on a different meaning when be served with asmile and the food prepared to perfection! Highly recommend and from every visit we've made, we don't believe you can go wrong.Try the fresh homemade dessert too! As long as we have to come to Houston, we'll patronize this wonderful restaurant!!! Read more

The food was excellent, the service not so much. For example I’m not sure if I had a waiter assigned to me, but it was a tall... man acting as a waiter to all the table around me. ( I say tall man as the description because I never received his name, andbarely his service.)Even to the table right behind me! So, I am to assume that the tall man was suppose to be my waiter. Tofurther the assumption to the absolute truth, one of the fellow workers, I’m assuming he was a manager, told the man, “youhaven’t checked on that table.” The man approached me twice within me being there for an hour or so. The majority of my timewas spent waiting. Then once I finished my food, and was ready for my bill, I looked up and saw that he was passing me I said,“excuse me,” he ignored me and went straight to the table behind me and asked her if she wanted a to-go box. Now in my mindI was wondering if I was invisible. The tall waiter walked passed me, got her to-go box, came back, and was about to leave to goto the back. I literally had to put my hand out and say excuse me for him to stop and acknowledge me. I wish I made this wholeexperience up, but sadly this happen today at Prima Pasta Italian Restaurant. I was so happy to get out of there because it feltlike they wanted my money, but didn’t want to serve me. Read more
