This was good food. It was the closest place to the hotel with the best rating so I went and gave it a try. It smells incredible... inside. The staff was friendly. They cut the meat in front of you and give it to you. I got a sandwich with regular sausage andbrisket. The sausage was ok but the brisket was amazing. I could eat it without the sauce. I don't do spice well so I used thesissy sauce but both tasted great. There was some bar with some toppings for the meat as well. The creamed corn was very good. Ifound out later it's a chain. So if you are heading out on a road trip of if you just need a fast lunch or dinner, this place is it. They sell gasoline, bags... of ice, BBQ, and lots of sides. If you buy 8 pounds of BBQ to go they give you a 32 ounce bottle of BBQ sauce with your order. The day I was there they were cleaning/sanitizing all the BBQ bottles that are stationed on the tables. Pretty good barbecue sold by the pounds! They totally forgot part of our order but the cashier was cool so it's whatever.... Overall great food and service. I definitely say try it out... wish they had more sides though. Read more
