After a long day of shopping, my daughter and I went to the food court to grab a bite to eat. We love Asian cuisine so we... contemplated on which place to eat. We spent years in Japan so we decided on Sarku Japan. I was checking out the menu to seewhat we would order. The guy at the register on 8/15/2022 @ around 6:30 pm ask could he help us & I said we were still tryingto decide on what we wanted. I then asked if he could give a taste sample of a dish. He said we don?t have to because our foodis good. I said I just wanted to see if I could taste test a certain dish before I purchase. He said we could go somewhere elseto purchase food. The way he spoke to us was very rude and distasteful. I would have given this place zero stars if I could. Your first impression is everything and customer service etiquette is needed there. They sell really tasty food in a take-out pack for an average of 10usd, so it's up to you to take with you or sit in a... designated area meant for the restaurant. If there is no queue expect fast service. They have both English and Spanish speakingstaff and they collect card/cash as payment options. Bon Appetite! Read more
Food was okay but Dry. I tried to buy extra Teriyaki sauce for me & my kid but the lady at the counter refused to sale to me.... Which I'm not sure why, I bought two meals... But she was typical, rude, miserable, fat and presented herself like she hated herjob. Place wasn't busy at all because they just opened so I wasn't sure what her problem was... The chicken bento box was the worst bento box I?ve ever had. It was worse than any mall food I?ve ever had. Literally the... dumplings were just dumped in the ginger strands and juice (not ginger dressing). The ?salad? was chopped cabbage, carrots andbroccoli from the grill. There was no nice, cold (or room temp) salad. The chicken was cooked raw, and I couldn?t even finishmy food. I worry that the ?sushi? gave me salmonella along with the raw chicken. DO NOT EAT HERE! Got the Chicken Bento box with fried rice and an extra piece of shrimp tempura. Service was friendly. Meat and rice were good... but the California Rolls were not the best (seemed a bit old and dry). Pretty good value for the money with this bento, sincewe both wanted a kind of snack and we split this one item. Good option at the mall food court. Read more
The employees were friendly and the restaurant looked clean. But the sizes of orders are very small for the price. I got the... chicken and shrimp meal it was really good but I felt taking advantage of with the price. I probably would not go back. If youhave the money and is willing to spend it. Than go for it. Loved their chicken bento box! ???? although it does come with way too much rice for my liking lol
