It was 100 degrees today. EXTREMELY HOT!! My fiancé went into this location to get a cup of water for me, due to my heat... exhaustion (I?m sensitive to heat) & he didn?t want me to pass out. First time at taco cabana and it was really good. Had the chicken fajitas. The lady that helped me out was so nice and... informative. The fajitas were very tasty and there was a ton of food for the price. Would go here again!! Read more
Typical fast food experience. I had to repeat my order multiple times and they forgot my drinks. I had to wait at the drive... through window for ages before anyone noticed we were still there. I normally don't go as low as 1* review, but this location currently doesn't have my business. Twice in December I ordered the... Fiesta enchiladas with ground beef, and both times the meat was excluded from my plate. Both times I called the guest serviceshotline to report that I frequently have minor issues with this location, and neither time did they follow up with me. On mysecond incident in December, I requested double rice instead of beans, and on my tray I could see where the beans were initiallyplaced and scooped out. Not to mention that the employees aren't friendly/patient half the time, but I could at least look pastthat if my orders were always on point. Read more
The food we got from the Post Oak location turned out to be one of the worst fast food meals I?ve ever experienced. My wife... ordered the beef fajita taco plate but they gave her chicken instead. On top of not getting what she ordered, the chicken wasdry and tough. It had the consistency of the scraps left over at the end of the day after the good pieces are gone and theydon?t want to cook any more. I ordered the crunchy beef tacos. ?Crunchy? is a relative term at this location it seems. Theshells were very stale and tough to chew. There was nothing ?crunchy? about them. That coupled with the scant fillings makes methink I should have chosen something else. To top it off, the salsa they gave us was nasty. There?s no other word to describeit. The salsa verde was bland and tasteless. The ranch salsa was literally spoiled. It smelled bad and had lumps of something init that reminded me of what milk looks like when it goes bad and curdles. It wasn?t fit for human consumption. I know thisisn?t indicative of Taco Cabana as a whole. We have a couple of locations closer to where we live that we visit quite often andwe?ve never had an issue like this. They are consistently good which is why I?m so surprised by the experience at the Post Oaklocation. I know it was getting near the end of the day and all but there is no excuse for what we were given. I?m thinking thatif we would have come earlier, everything would have been fine but who knows.
