Food was good but service was horrible the waitress had a bad attitude since we walked in one of the servers threw the straws at... our table after getting our drinks. Never got drink refills and we had to wait a long time before being able to order and getthe check. If you want to eat this food just order it to go. Read more

Another great location of consistently great ramen, sushi, rolls and other Japanese favorites. The slightly smaller venue can... lead to wait times especially if you have more than four people in your party. If you only have one or two and are willing tosit at the sushi bar you can get in and out very quickly. This restaurant is always leaving me satisfied with their food. Always kind service and quick to serve, I never feel... unsatisfied with eating here. I usually order the Tamashi?s Menn since it is most popular and this is the BEST ramen I haveeaten so far. The broth is always rich and delicious. The sushi they serve here is tasty as well! Well maintained even in asmall building, but never felt it was much of a bother. The staff is always wearing their masks when talking and helping.Bathrooms are well maintained. Read more
I've had lots of sushi places in Houston and I've passed on Tamashi a bunch, and it was a mistake. The sushi rolls are large and... filling, and the rice is delicious and flavored better than I've had in other sushi restaurants. It's a bit small inside, butcharacteristic of all great sushi spots. I loved this place! It was small and quaint BUT had so much character. The walls had some type of comic book art and it was... awesome. The food was worth every minute that I waited to be seated. The sushi was magnificent, the tentacles were crisped toperfection, and the ramon bowl was almost too good to eat. To top that all off- 2 different Sakes AND they were both greatchoices. Ordered the tamashi menn, the sushi platter (chefs choice) and the caterpillar roll. Very good dishes. Highly recommend coming... here for a good fix of food. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the staff is very attentive and nice. Saw one of the staffhanding out candy to little kids as they left which spoke volumes to the type of people working here.
