Tel-Wink is probably the best diner I've been to. Their service is quick and although they are busy, they seat you quickly... too. The servers are attentive. The portions are large, so come with an appetite. The menu is extensive, so there's many optionsto choose from. I'd recommend this place over Waffle House if you're looking for a similar place. When I walked in, I had no clue where to go. There was no signage to let me know that I was supposed to seat myself and the only... nearby worker I saw was the cashier who was ringing up someone. Once I figured out that I'm supposed to seat myself, thewaitress handed me a menu and asked me what I wanted to drink. I don't even know my options at this point so I tell her a eed aminute. She comes back shortly after, I tell her I want a chocolate milk and that I'm still deciding on food. She stands there, writes down the chocolate milk, and waits. Once she sees that I'm still deciding, she goes to grab the chocolate milk, comesback pen in hand, and just waits for me to decide what I want to eat. I felt VERY rushed and they weren't even busy. I order myfood and it comes out fairly quickly. The waffle was delicious!!! The omelette tasted something like something an average personwould make at home. Also, I'm like 97% sure they used sliced cheese on the omelette which I was not a fan of. The grits were agreat texture, but very bland even after butter, salt, and pepper were mixed in. Read more

If you are a breakfast person and you have not tried this establishment you are doing a discredit to your taste buds. Tel-Wink... has been around as long as Timmy Chan's. The food here is remarkable. At 5:30 this morning I left my house drove this morningall the way from Katy to 45 and Telephone Road for this breakfast (55min). Read more

Brunch was good. This is one of the best waffles I?ve had and the chicken fried chicken was good too. I also got a regular... coffee but they didn?t have French vanilla so that was a bummer. My husband got a bacon cheese burger with fries and it was oktoo. Customer service was also good and we were served pretty fast. The prices are a bit high imo, in total my husband and Ipaid around $46 plus tip just for us two. Read more

Breakfast is very affordable ($3 for biscuits and gravy and $6 for pancakes!) and the food is simply phenomenal. It's the... atmosphere that really gets you though. What a wonderful little diner. A MUST try if you're ever in Houston ???? Read more
