What a cool place. The atmosphere is great, the food is incredible and the drinks were plentiful. Celebrated a friend's 30th... here. Being new to Houston, wanted something southern, something seafood, and something Texas. This place really coveredall three! Our server was incredible. She was very honest about everything on the menu. We arrived just in time to takeadvantage of happy hour. Excellent bourbon old fashioned. The oysters were fresh and delicious! Rouxpour is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The oysters are literally the best in Houston. The boudin balls are so good.... And the lemon drop martinis are perfect! I have been to the memorial city location several times now, and each time, theservice and food has been exceptional. On this particular visit on 07/23/2022, the host that led us to our sit was so friendly!Ali, our server, was amazing! My cousin treated me to a late lunch at The Rouxpour and I was pleased with the dining experience! Somehow she was able to... convince me to try oysters that was a first ever and I must say such delicacies I found quite tasty (they were seasoned preparedand not uncooked). The martini was good but as a tip- ask to not shake too much ice or at all because the ice dilutes and alterthe flavour of your martini. Overall, we had a wonderful lunch. Met my book club ladies here for lunch and to discuss our book of the month. The food was off the chain. I ate everything but... the plate. That stuff chicken with mash potatoes and sautéed spinach had me wanting to go back the next day for more.Everything was great. My friends ordered the salads which looked and tasted amazing. The waiter was a bit hard to catch up withor to check on us, but once he did, he provided all our requests. I will definitely be back for more and have been telling allmy family and friends about the food here. I highly recommend. You need to make reservations if visiting on weekends becausethey are really busy and you will have a wait to get in. During the week should be fine. Read more

Excellent seafood. The blacked shrimp deviled egg is unique and really good. One of the best gumbo. Stuffed flounder was over... cooked but the gladly prepared another dish serving that was excellent. Flounder moist, seasoned well and stuffed with lots ofjumbo crab. Best Mecicam Martini ever. ???? Came here yesterday for lunch Mother's day celebration and we truly enjoyed it. The place is massive with beautiful decorations,... there is plenty of seating inside as well as outside, I think I also saw a private room for events. Everyone attending us whenwe first got there were friendly. The server was super sweet and cheerful which was nice, she attended us very well and wasalways checking on us. The food came out quick and everything was super delicious, the food tasted fresh. The prices are a bittoo high so I think it would be a good place for special occasions but I would definitely recommend. Read more

It was my youngest and I first time coming. My oldest has been before and says that your chicken sandwich is the best she ever... has had. I enjoyed meal as well as my youngest. Looking for a chill spot for Saturday brunch with the ladies? Well LISTEN… this is it! Our service was impeccable! Thanks... Carlos! The mimosas were great along with our meals. I really can’t say anything negative about this restaurant. I’ve beenfor Happy Hour and during Dinner and each time was equally satisfying. One thing that stood out was the pecan bourbon syrup orwhatever it was that came with the French toast.
