Loyal Treebeards customer since 1985! Can?t beat their red beans and rice or their gumbo (which surprisingly doesn?t have okra... in it, for those of you who don?t like okra). Missing the original location on Market Square. However, the staff at the tunnellevel location at Enterprise Plaza are great?super friendly and very efficient. Just make sure you go early or late since theline can be out the door at high noon. Free French bread with purchase! Oh yeah, and their cornbread is to die for. Read more

I enjoy Treebeards and their Gumbo. Gumbo is my go to with out fail. So, I ventured towards a different menu item and... disappointed with my choice. Mildly warm, stiff and needed lots of help with their delicious hot sauce. Tunnel location. Read more

The Shrimp Etouffee is really good, but when you order by a delivery service, I think they rip you off ???? and pile more... onions, bell pepper and celery. and they actually give you a 5$ cup of rice, gravy and shrimp. Now, that?s not right! Like thefood..,but I definitely will not reorder online through a delivery service ever again. This is not the first time this hashappen to me with them!!! smh ??????????? For a lunch slinger, Treebeards is mediocre at best. They are a high-priced cafeteria-style restaurant living on their name... alone. For this visit, my friend and I chose to have a bowl of seafood gumbo and a fountain drink. For the two of us, thattotaled a whopping $35.00 for lunch. For this money, one would expect an exquisite eating experience. Well, if expectationswere high, they were quickly, and abruptly crushed. The gumbo was cold, and lacked a good flavor at all. Every bite, my tonguedied a thousand deaths. By the end of my eating experience, if you want to call it that, my tongue committed suicide, in selfdefense. I basically stopped eating about halfway through my bowl of food. This was my second experience with Treebeards. Both experiences were similar.
