I cannot stay away from Trendy Vegan! Everything I've tried has been delicious, fresh, and flavorful! Not to mention it's 100%... vegan! The to go service is amazing and the dine in service is also amazing and friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky butthere's street parking behind the restaurant. Next time you're in this part of town, try the fried rice and spring rolls. Read more

Trendy vegan is one of my favorite spots. The staff is always sooo sweet and they have such great options. My favorites are the... salt and pepper tofu, Mapo tofu and the cold Dan Dan noodles. Everything is so good and big portions too! Read more

I don’t eat vegan food on the norm but If all vegan food tasted like this I’d eat it more often! We ordered the Dan Dan... Noodles, Kale Salad, Spicy Steamed Dumplings, General Tso’s Tofu and the Mapo Tofu. I really enjoyed the flavors of all thedishes. Very fresh and not overboard. My favorite dish would be the Dan Dan Noodles. It’s served cold and very yummy. Iwasn’t able to take a photo of it because it was so good we ate it on the spot! This pairs really well with their spicy MapoTofu dish! We will definitely be back ~ Read more

I had a friend who is vegan stop in town for an overnight layover and found this place to try out. I read thru reviews. All... recent reviews were sparkling, but older reviews were mostly negative. I was so impressed. The food looks like the recentpictures and tastes even better. We walked in Monday evening around 6:30, warmly greeted immediately. There were 3 or 4 othercouples eating there, and 3 other pick up only orders while we were there. They let us know the typical mobile ordering systemwas down and they'd take our order the traditional way. We had the fried mushrooms appetizer. It was about 12 pieces and camewith a delicious sauce that tasted like it may have had been Wasabi based, though not spicy, just had a little kick to it. Weended up asking for a second sauce because it was so delicious. Our entrees came out promptly and hot. I ate the General Tso'stofu bento box. 10/10. Vegetables cooked perfectly. A good amount of sauce & tofu. Dan Dan noodles were new to both of us.Served cold in very creamy sauce. I think it may have been basil, so it added a hint of sweetness to the meal. Spring roll had agood crispy shell. Kale salad was tender and I think served with the same sauce as the fried mushrooms. Portions large enoughfor me to save half for the next day. She had the Garlic Sauce Eggplant bento box. I can't decide whose meal was my favorite. The sauce was magnificent. Also great portion size. All in all, I highly recommend. Even if you're not vegan, but justinterested in trying something new Read more

One of my favorite vegan spots. They serve fully vegan Chinese cuisine. Most of their menu draws inspiration from sichuan style... of cooking. They’re associated with Trendy Dumpling, Spicy Girl, and Wula Buhuan which are amazing sichuan style restaurants. There’s a lot I love about Trendy Vegan but the creativity is what draws me in the most. They’re constantly trying out newcombinations and adding to their expanding menu. My favorite dishes are general tso’s tofu, fried king mushroom, and dan dannoodles. I also love the Thai tea. Fine place. Good food, good prices, friendly waitstaff, and a good variety on the menu (assuming you're into Chinese... food.) It's not some place to rush to overnight, but there are few better and many many many worse vegan places in town. Irecommend the mushroom and spinach steamed dish. The hot and sour soup is good, and the portion large enough, but a touch on thevinegary side. When you're there make sure to ask for chili oil with your food, as it's tasty as heck. Strongly recommended. Read more
