Had a great lunch with my husband this past Friday! The grilled octopus was really great. I usually only come for Brunch so it... was a nice change up to try a different menu of items. I did the South west style salad. Really different but tasty! Myhusband had the burger and really enjoyed it. Read more

The food is very good, quality ingredients , exquisite recipes. I do not reccomend desserts, we had a very disgusting cake. I... think the cakes are made somewhere else Nice place, friendly staff , clean and modern. The toilets are very bad - old, uglyand not cleaned properly. They need some more atention. Read more

White Elm Brasserie was the perfect place for my lunch today. I was greeted by Veronica who sat me in a private room away from... most of the noise in the area. I had the two-part appetizer tartine: avocado and the smoked salmon (yummy!). For my entree I atethe very inventive Sweet Potato Lasagna. This dish is well worth the visit alone. The service was superb, and the atmosphere wasquiet, and I left there completely satisfied. If you want to spoil yourself for lunch; head over to White Elm Brasserie andBakery asap! Read more

I was so excited to come out and try this Cafe/Bakery (as their sign at the restaurant shows)… I come in and am seated... promptly. The restaurant is really pretty, well decorated, nice colors and harmony throughout. A client calls me so I’m onthe phone for 15 minutes…not once did someone come by to take my drink order. I get off of my call and wait and wait andwait…another ten minutes goes by before someone comes by and asks if I have been helped. The no drinks or food on my table wasobviously not a red flag. Part of what I do is review restaurants so I decided to keep an open mind. The tea with Topo Chicowas amazing! Loved it!! So now I’m really excited about what was coming next - my order… I see other people around mehaving their orders taken and I continue to wait and wait and wait…I could have gotten the attention of the waitress but I’mhere to not interfere in what should be a relatively easy process - you see a person at a table in a restaurant, it’s onlylogical to expect someone to come to my table. Guess what happened? No one came over to take my order. I got up and went to paymy bill - for the drink…and I ask the waitress who was at the counter if the restaurant was table service or counter service(because I was truly confused at this point). She looks at me and says very seriously - oh I thought you just wanted to order atea. Now I understand it says Cafe Bakery on the exterior, but the menu and the name on Google says something different. Theyare not a coffee and tea shop, they are a restaurant. If they continue to operate by just selling teas, they won’t be able topay the high priced Memorial end cap rent for too much longer. Perhaps this is not their norm. Perhaps they did not like that Iwalked in by myself. Perhaps they did not like the way I looked…who knows. What I do know is that I left there feelingslighted and beyond disappointed. I went across the center to the other end cap at Luchi & Joey instead. Different vibecompletely, Read more

I came here with my dad for, brunch. The dining experience was 5/5. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and most of all delicious... food! I got the Grateful Bird turkey sandwich with no mayonnaise, the sautéed carrots along with a cup of fresh squeezed orangejuice. My experience today was amazing. Read more

If you are looking a place where you can have a glass of wine this is the perfect spot. White Elm has an eclectic- elegant... decoration. I love the combination of whites, navy and gold colors on walls and furniture. In addition the music is calming andinspire to talk. I visited this place on a week evening. I had a glass of white wine (Oro Bello Blanc, Napa Valley), sparklingand a little sweet. I liked it. We were not so hungry and we ordered some apetizers. They were not big, but ingredients had avery good quality. I spent a good evening, personal is attentive, definitely I will come back and try the pizzas that lookamazing. Read more

My husband and I decided to come here for dessert tonight. We ordered tea and a strawberry shortcake. The waitress brings tea... without honey or a spoon. The strawberry shortcake was flavorless and the bread was hard. The waitress was standoffish for theentire 35 minutes we were there. However, she was very friendly and attentive to the elderly couple. I tipped her 24% andthanked her for her service on my receipt. Next time you see an uneaten dessert ask the guest if everything is okay. Just checkon your tables and learn customer service. Read more
