We had a nice experience with our 3 kids. Our server Danny was very helpful with offering suggestions since we didn?t know what... was the best or different. He had a great sense of humor and super patient. He even had our kids laughing! It was a really nicegetting out with the family and he was such a joy! The food was good as usual, but I wish you would figure out if you are more of a full service restaurant, or an order at the... counter place and then we are on our own for everything. I really do not like this in-between, order at the counter and then paylater style. I know you do it to serve more drinks and get tips, but we do not drink, so it is an inconvenience for us. And itcan cause issues. Case in point- this is the second time the service was below par, once each at two of your restaurants. I hadto get my own drink refills and had to walk up to the service counter to ask for my check. Other Willie's locations take care ofboth things efficiently and timely. I'm not one to "flag down" someone for help, they should be doing their job. I guess I'mexpected to stand up, attract attention, and then ask for service, instead of being routinely asked by the server if I needanything, like other places do. Anyway, we've decided we will probably skip the Copperfield and 249 Willowbrook locations, butwill continue to go to the Jersey Village and College Station ones, where we always have excellent service. I really like to go to Willie's for lunch. The food is always consistently good. I haven't found a single thing that I've... ordered that I don't enjoy. I'm a real fan of the hamburgers and sweet potato fries. The biggest draw for me to come back thislocation is the service and I enjoy my visit even more when Megan is the server. Oh my goodness! I have had the best Mother?s Day lunch at Willie?s Grill. I had a blackened chicken Caesar salad which was... great. Morgan, my server even told me that all the dressings are made fresh. We also had the fresh fried catfish filets. Theyare fantastic! Morgan was so kind, and attentive to all our needs.
