My husband took me here on my birthday at my request because I wanted to try something new. It was very disappointing. The... ambience was really nice, but the food was terrible. First off, it was a very hot evening and apparently no air conditioninginside. They served water at room temperature and without ice. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did, my crabcakes were all filler, mushy and ice cold. I asked if they?d heat it up and they did, but that didn?t help the taste ortexture. Quantity over quality is never a good idea. My husband got a steak that was tough as leather but he ate it anyway. I?d go back and try something else? one more time, because the reviews are mostly positive. Hope it?s better. Read more
Such a wonderful little place. Last time we were here it was absolutely slammed; a favorite local group was playing, and we... waited almost an hour to be seated; 20 minutes to get a drink. BUT when it was my turn to be served, I had the bartender'scomplete attention and she gave good, quick guidance on what was good; the cocktails were excellent. TBH, bar service has alwaysbeen great there, some of the very best in the entire State College area. The hostess picked us out when a table was about to beready and asked us if we could wait another 10 minutes for an outdoor spot; yes! We were seated 10 feet from the musicians(acoustic, so all good)! And the food is always very good. We'll definitely be back. Read more

We love the Hublersburg Inn. Whether it is for Burger or Wing night or one of their amazing Chef dining experiences. We have... been there for holidays with family and for drinks with friends. Amazingly delicious food served in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The Hublersburg Inn is a great destination for a special... night out. Everything from the appetizers to the huge burgers and delicious dinners to the homemade desserts is absolutelyfantastic. The bar selections vary from local beers to signature cocktails and a nice wine selection. The service isspectacular and very friendly. Out in the country but very worth the drive to get there!
