This place is pricey but well worth it. I had Filet Mignon tips chicken breast and shrimp on Skewers that gave a variation into... their great food. All were drizzled in unique sauces. With a bowl of amazing sauteed mushrooms and Smashed potatoes as well as asmall loaf of pumpernickel bread served with what I believe was a whipped butter flavored with nutmeg and a hint of cinnamonthis was one of the best meals Ive had during my years walking around the country Highly recommended. Three syllables: Uh. May. Zing. Seriously, top tier taste at mid-level pricing and the best mix of classy, quirky and... comfortable atmosphere! I had a gluten free Alfredo pasta dish that was so good I honestly forgot that I have Celiac Disease.It's incredibly difficult to have a huge bowl of gluten free pasta the same texture/consistency of traditional pasta. It was theperfect atmosphere for spending a few hours catching up with a dear friend over a delicious meal! Definitely coming back anddefinitely recommending to everyone I know! Update: THEY NOW OFFER GLUTEN FREE CARROT CAKE!!!!! My husband and I just went toDiamonds to celebrate our 8th anniversary and we were both delightfully surprised to see gluten free carrot cake on the menu. It was my first time to experience the Diamonds steak and seafood. It was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly helpful and... friendly. They were quick to make excellent recommendations. The food was delicious. We chose to sit outside and enjoy thebreeze. The amount of loud vehicles would be my only issue and it was not the restaurants fault. We will definitely be back. Read more
We came there for a date night and to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our first server was very nice but then they changed... servers unexpectedly. Everything we ordered came out wrong, even my salad. The first steaks that were brought out were verysalty and dry. Ordered medium rare but there wasn’t a bit of pink in it. The snotty female manager came over and blamed iton us as if we haven’t been ordering steaks cooked the same way our whole lives. Just before she walked up I was mid sentencetelling my husband “this hasn’t been the best experience but I’m willing to give them a second chance another time”. That immediately changed after she said came to our table with the way she spoke to us. Upon receiving our second steaks theywere not the same cut of meat and were flavorless. Much like the dried out macaroni and potato’s they served us. The secondmale manager that came over was very nice and we felt that he genuinely was trying to make it right but it was too late and wejust couldn’t wait to get out of there. Our server was nowhere to be found throughout all of this. We are not difficultpeople and typically shrug off a simple mistake but this was the worst dining experience we could recall. Friendly hostess greeted us promptly. We were seated at a table and Zander was a very attentive and friendly. The filet mignon... bites were tender and delicious as described. The carrot cake was good and the icing was perfectly sweet (but not too sweet.) Read more
Service was lovely and food was too! We made a reservation online, so we were seated quickly. Went to celebrate a birthday, and... the host wrote 'birthday' on a note which made us think something extra might happen. Server picked up the note and nothinghappened! A variety of dinner options that are delicious and fresh for a fine cuisine dining environment. I had the pan sear salmon and... enjoyed every bite. Many beer, wine, liquor varieties. Our waitress Sherry C. took the time to find out the ingredients in mydinner that I ordered. They do have gluten and corn free options. Sherry was friendly and helpful and provided wonderfulservice. The atmosphere is a classic 40s steakhouse feeling. I will definitely be returning. Read more
