My son and I were working in the area and found this little breakfast/lunch place. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. ... Nothing fancy here but but what they do, they do very well. I have been going to George's since they opened somewhere around ten years ago. This place hands down has the best burgers in... the County or even the state. Other places opened up in the last decade and they aren't even playing the same game, there noteven on the same playing field. What's even more amazing is that it has stayed so consistently good for ten years. They haveeven maintained a large portion of the staff from there own launch many years ago. The fries are an excellent mix of crunchy andflavorful. On top of that they are one of the only places to have good keto alternatives, which they have maintained by usingingredients that are already used in pre existing recipes. There side veggies are excellent in there own right too and are agreat choice for anyone trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle while eating out. There breakfast omelettes are always anexcellent choice as well and there hash browns have also maintained a great crunch. Everything about this place I love. The foodis great. The staff is excellent and to keep a restaurant running this well consistently for somewhere around ten years is anachievement, not just in the food industry, but in the spirit of human kind. Wife and I had breakfast today. First time ever. She had blueberry pancakes. She was happy. Looked good. I had the Salmon Benny.... I was disappointed. Hollandaise sauce was very bland. Salmon was supposed to be encrusted with pastrami. There was hardly anypastrami present, salmon was minimal and again very bland. Presentation was solid on both plates. Staff was very good. Veryattentive and professional. Willing to give it another try. Just won't order the same thing again. Read more
Great place. Had outdoor seating also. HUGE amount of food for the choices. So much bacon & very tasty. Really good, great huge... amount of fresh fruit, nice biscuits & gravy. Attentive server. Would highly recommend. We'll be back when visiting the area?????????? Read more
Service was good, food was good. Nothing amazing and the food definitely doesn't look like the pictures on Google or on their... website. Also, the menu says hash browns but it is American fries and if you don't get them well done you are essentiallygetting a chopped up baked potato. We also added strawberries to the pancakes because the pictures made it look like it was astrawberry slurry, but they came out with plain chopped strawberries on top.
