Decent food and service but I have to take a the rating down a bit for 2 reasons. First the waitress used a sniff test to tell... which pop was which when she apparently forgot. Something about someone placing their nose inches from your drink that is a bitof a turn off. Second I ordered an omelet with ham, cheese, green pepper but I got onions, cheese, green pepper. Big plates of gravy-covered goodness, hot tasty coffee, attentive friendly waitstaff, and very reasonable prices! UPdate... 22January2022: the meat-lovers omelette with rye toast is the best breakfast you can find. Super nice waitress, several fills onmy coffee, and unbelievable gravy covering it all. this restaurant is cheap, but the staff is awful and rude. I have given this place multiple chances, but have had to walk out 3... times due to terribly rude waitresses. These women are old enough to know better. If you are in a hurry or expect polite servicedo not go here. Absolutely awful! Read more
Love a good family diner and this one was good, but not great. Would have put three stars, but the service was great and made... it four star worthy. Ordered a vegetarian omelette and some pancakes to share. Omelette was good!Pancakes were very bland andvery dry. Biggest detriment was that they do not have any options for breakfast meat that weren't made from pork. Read more
Love the mad dog breakfast. It has hash brown and bacon that is broken up and cheese and it comes with 2 eggs i get three.
This is one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. The staff were all great, and there were plenty of locals that knew... everyone by name. It was a comfortable and welcoming environment. Read more
Sunrise Family Diner is the perfect name for the place. "Sunrise" for a great way to start your day. "Family" because it's got... a palpable family feel. And "Diner" because the food is hot, quick to the table and a good value. We'll be back. Read more
