The food are good. However, we do have some concern with our observation. I think this is basic requirement that people... processing foods should always put on their mask regardless if there is a CoVID pandemic going on or not. We saw them allwithout masks and were even talking/chatting while processing the foods. Read more

If you have had the pleasure of having Paneras bread bowls, you understand how tragic it is to be told that of the four bowls... you ordered that only one can be fulfilled. As tragic as it was - I was okay! I promise! The manager (I assume manager as hegave off manager vibes, but if the young man with short brown hair and red shirt isn't a manager y'all need to make him one) hadgone waaaaay out of his way to make sure that my bread-bowless heart was made whole. I already loved Panera for their food butnow I love them for their employees too. Y'all ROCK and hopefully I manage to beat the end of day bread-bowl rush next time. Read more

I was at this location (Howell) last Wednesday. I ordered the Baja Salad bowl with chicken. I was told that they were out of... the corn and the beans. That is one of the reasons I ordered that. So, I changed my order to the Fuji Apple salad with chickenwhile my husband ordered the steak and cheddar sandwich. While waiting for our order to be called while looking down at myreceipt I noticed my salad order said "no red onion". I didn't order it that way and questioned the girl and was told "we areout of red onion"!! Seriously???? Needless to say the salad had little to NO flavor. As far as my husband's sandwich.....paperthin! Not enough meat...ready to ask "where's the beef"? Horrible experience and will not be returning. Read more

What happened to quality at this Panera location? I travel a lot for work and Panera is one of my typical places to stop on the... road for several factors: Store cleanliness, quality of ingredients, and consistency of the food. None of these factors appliesto the Howell Panera, unfortunately. On multiple occasions, my wife and I have received sandwiches that are haphazardlyassembled, salads with wilted lettuce and spinach, and soups that are somehow burnt AND cold. Dear Howell Panera, get your acttogether and stop bringing down the entire franchise with your quality control issues. Read more

This is the Nastiest one I?ve ever been to ! The place is dirty , they don?t clean off the tables and take forever with your... order. I went around to see what the hold up was and there was at least four male employees in the back chatting it up LOUDLYabout things that didn?t pertain to their job . Very rude and unapologetic. THE ONLY employee on shift was a light skinned youngwoman with glasses unfortunately, I had already canceled my order . SKIP PASS THIS PANERA & GO TO BRICK! Read more

For the first time in years of ordering Fiji apple salad I saw bad leafy greens in my salad. I thought this was unusual until I... read a review by another customer who had a similar experience at the Howell Panera Bread. Hopefully these reviews help thestore bring back the quality Panera Salads are known for. I will not be going back to the Howell store for a while though. Read more

Since I work in the area I frequent here often. The food is what you expect. The staff always seems very confused and makes... constant mistakes. I'm making this review to highlight the General Manager Chris. I confronted him when they lost an order Iplaced. I said unfortunately I'm at work right now and don't have time for this and that I'll return to the store to get arefund. I didn't yell or curse as I worked in the food industry and know what's it's like. Chris said to not come back. Chrismaybe you were having a bad day, but I was having a bad day too. Keep your attitude to yourself. Read more

Last night I had the worst experience I have ever had any Panera. My husband went to get me a Fuji apple salad at the Howell... location. I always loved the salad and was looking forward to eating it. When he got home I took the cover off and noticed thatthe lettuce had a strong odor. I ignored it and put the dressing on. I lifted up one of the apples to eat it and it was limp inmy hand. I usually enjoy crunching on them but there was no crunch to be had then I noticed that the lettuce was limp, it wasnot fresh, not even close to fresh. I called the location and asked to speak to the manager, DAVID. He told me that his romaineis always fresh and he highly doubted my experience so I told him I?d be right in. He contradicted me three times during thecourse of our conversation. He was not a professional. He even insulted me. I asked for my money to be refunded, he asked me howI paid for it. Finally he decided to look it up and after some discussion an A LOT of anxiety I was refunded the money. Read more
