It was absolutely delicious! I'm here visiting my son and his girlfriend and he picked the restaurant for his birthday. It's... not a restaurant along the main road so if you're from Wisconsin you probably know about it and if you're visiting you'd have tohear about it to find it. Each dining area has a theme. We were seated in Hunt room which had alot of heads on the wall. Hugemoose over the mantle. There is quite alot of interesting history about the restaurant if you do a search. The meals are a bitpricey however they run a special constantly with buy one meal and get the second free. The dessert menu is the same. Buy oneand get one free. This is the first time we have ever been here. We have heard mixed reviews either really good or really bad not much in between.... Well we went out with another couple that swears by the fish fry and we were not disappointed. Everything we had was amazing.From the baked cod to the deep fried cod. The perch was fresh and some of the best I have ever had. And then the shrimp. Thereare no words to describe how phenomenal the shrimp was. The drinks were also amazing. The sweet old fashions were on point bothwhiskey and brandy. The White Russians were great and they amazing and made with premium spirits. And of course there is alwaysthat one person in the group who loved the White Claws? Huge shout out to our server Robyn who did an amazing job. Our plateswere never empty and neither were our drinks. First time here and it was amazing! Took my parents and my beautiful girlfriend out to dinner for my mothers birthday. My mother... loved it! We got a table by the window and the fireplace!! The food was so good! We all had steak entrees which came withveggies and buttered mushrooms. We all had the house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The steaks were delicious! Our serverSteve was excellent! My mother and I have celiac disease and he checked our food to make sure we were all good! We had a reservation for 4:30 for a party of 5, seated almost immediately, drinks were quickly served and dinner was shortly... after. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and went over the buy one get one rules. We had a great time!My son loved the spaghetti! Read more

We went and enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Our server was Steve. He was pleasant and very attentive clearing dishes and refilling... drinks! There are many different dinning rooms with cozy fireplaces and old world decor. The food was delicious and for the $25 brunch they had a caving station with Prime rib! The buffet had ham,sausage,rotisserie chicken,baked fish,potroast,bacon,beef tips. What I like most about this place is that it is very charming and the staff is very friendly. Also very clean. I also like... how they decorate for Christmas. There's a magical feeling to it, and when we were there, large snowflakes falling were fallingdown outside the window. If that doesn't get you into the holiday spirit, then you're a grinch for sure. The reason for a threestar is their food is just okay. The best part of the brunch is the prime rib and dessert table. Plus, drinks like coffee andjuice are not included in brunch.
