The food is always excellent! But I was really surprised at the bad experience I had today. I placed a takeout order. When I... arrived, I asked about my order. I was told to stand in line. (All of the patrons in line hadn't ordered yet. I asked them.)While standing in line, I notice the bag on the shelf of orders. While the young cashier stood there fixing her hair and seeminga little lost and bored. I didn't want to ask a second time and be that guy. Yes, it was my order. The food, getting cold andsoggy of course. No common sense to get the takeout order going and reduce the amount of people in line. Especially when thecustomer asks for it and the food is ready! One person working, waiting for supervisor who was 20 minutes late for opening shift, leaving new girl alone. We ordered food... but had to wait for that other employee to even GET there to cook it. She was in no hurry either! No apology for the wait(nobody else in there at 7am) and didn't eat for 45 minutes! Rude and ridiculous customer service. Love this place. There?s plenty of designated parking behind the cafe on a side street and some street parking if you?re lucky... enough to nab a space. I get their dark roast with a shot of hazelnut or a seasonal shot of pumpkin or gingerbread- so yummy.It?s a chill place to come and the service is fast. Read more
Very cozy, inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Food is delicious, plentiful, and presented nicely. I had the Southwest Chicken... Crepe. It's just big enough to not need another meal, but not too heavy to need a nap afterwards. Don't forget you can park inthe back and come in through the back door... Read more
Got mac and cheese there today. Paid $10.99 for basically no pasta. It was maybe two noodles in depth in a regular styrofoam... takeout box on top of tin foil. It would have made sense to me if they listed that as a $6.99 kids mac, but I was still sohungry after I ate it because it was honestly less pasta than a box of Kraft?s. I know restaurants can cost alot to run. 6 years under the same low class owner Chad Although I have not bothered with stopping... in over 3 1/2 years. Its slowing down. I can still see by walking by it's the same old I know this place same low quality foodit's a diner and Chad was too concerned about the cost of everything I heard this including employee pay checks more the once Ican't raise the price anymore or a loaf of high quality bread for a cheap calise bread general mills pancake mix etc. alot morepotential for a new manager I can stop back in if this place scales up.
