You simply must stop by if you?re in Hudson. I think this is the most beautiful room I?ve ever seen. Sexy ambiance, tasteful... drinks, exceptional service (shoutout Tommy!). My partner and I sipped by the fireplace ? it was a date to remember. The hotelis owned by the couple that started the beauty brand Fresh, so the sensational cocktail list is inspired by their very ownfragrances. If you ask, you might get to sample them. We had a wonderful experience here! Came for drinks around 6pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately at the bar inside. Our... bartender Adam was so friendly and helpful, describing the drinks and walking us through the ingredients. Both of us loved ourdrinks - they were intense and creative. Adam was great at checking in and when we asked about a certain bitter, and he ended upmaking us a little taste of another drink using the bitter! It was so thoughtful. Wonderful place for a delicious and intimate cocktail - especially on the weekdays when the town is more sleepy. The high... ceilings and dark vibe set the mood immediately, as did the green leather bound cocktail menus. The Maker Lounge is further down the road from the Maker Cafe. It has a speak-easy, sultry, feel to it, similar to many you'd... find in Flatiron/Gramercy Manhattan.
