Love this place. On our travels from Indiana to NJ, we stumbled upon beautiful Hudson and thankfully this place. We have a baby... so we were looking for a nice outdoor set up and One Red Door fit the bill. Solid food, I had their Nashville Chicken and mywife loves one of their fancy salads. I happened to leave my iPad and by the time I realized, I was already 300 miles away inNJ. I called and asked for them to ship it and they did without question. Great customer service. Read more
Went in at 7, told us it would be a 20 minute wait. 30 min later we Went to check on our table (7:30 at this time). Hostess said... we stop seating at 7:30 since kitchen closes at 8. Why didn’t they tell us this before?. So we were put on a wait list just tobe told we can’t be seated. Why didn’t they mention they stopped seating at 7:30 ahead of time? Then we would have just wentsomewhere else and not have waited around for 30 minutes with our 10 month old kid too! Extremely upset with how this washandled! Read more
Great Date Night Location! The square that it is located in is a good little area to walk around and enjoy the shopping.... Service was good, they took reservations. Out door seating was limited but overall nice! Food overall was good! Had the SpicyPepperoni Pizza. Was a good size and tasting pizza! Drinks were made strong which is good! Me and the Misses stopped in and had a meal prior to a movie and the spot is on the food was very tasty. The interior is a bit... on the dark side with lower lighting but I think this is part of the ambiance they are trying to set. All in all the service wasgreat the food was tasty and well prepared... Brunch here is always good. They are pricey but the chicken and waffles is obviously the best thing to try. Their hot sauce is... home made and the chicken was very juicy and crispy. My only complaint is the wait time, it always takes a while to get yourfood, just make sure you aren’t starving before you go! It’s always a longer wait time for any restaurant at the moment,which is fine, but the food was hot and very delicious! Read more
I'm often disappointed by how much vegetarian burgers lack flavor. This one was full of flavor. Got the mushroom and Swiss... burger and subbed out the patty for the veg option. Also added sweet potato fries that were shared by the whole table.Delish! The waitress was so sweet and that made our night even better. Read more
The roasted chicken, vegetables and ricotta gnocchi were heavenly! My husband said the warm spinach salad was the best he's ever... tasted and is worth coming back for again and again. Lobster pizza was delightful, very rich, perfectly crunchy and full offlavor. Worth every penny and then some. Bravo! Read more
Overall this is a good experience and we are more than likely (not guaranteed) to return. I would also recommend it to folks... who've never been there. However, my family and I both felt that the experience was a step below/different than what we wereused to before the pandemic. They've obviously made adjustments but it feels like a little less upscale than before thepandemic. Just being honest. Now, the food was outstanding. I had the shrimp and grits and it was magnificent. Flavorful,without being excessively salty and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. My wife had a plain turkey burger that was moist,flavorful, and on a delicious brioche bun. It was filling. My daughter had truffle fries and I had brisket fries and both werephenomenal. Our son had a chicken salad that was delicious. All in all, my family had a great time and it was also fun to watchthe Browns get beat up by the Bills.
