The location is very nice and the staff is courteous. The food did not meet our expectations at all, it was glorified pub food.... Don't get me wrong, pub food can be very good and the reputation and the prices The Willow Inn is charging the expectations weresomewhat higher but were not met. The oysters to start were excellent, the slices of cold cut and bread were average at best.The request for the burger to be cooked to medium or medium well was refused. We were told hey had to be served medium rare. Inthe end the burgers were not served consistently medium rare. The pork chop was very dry. I think the people in the group whoordered the Fish N Chips were satisfied. The vegetarian option on the menu for the group was removed. Read more

Had dinner on the patio for two. Beautiful August evening. Spectacular view of Lake of Two Mountains. It was the meal that was... the prize. Everything was absolutely perfect. Including the outstanding service. The creations were like art on the plates. Everything was prepared and served perfectly. The tastes were outstanding. Already want to return to try some of the other menuchoices. Rates beyond the 5 stars we are able to give. Michelin should visit this place. Its a jewel waiting to be discovered. Read more
My husband and I have gone a few times before and not disappointed. We went this weekend with two other couple and we clearly... had a new waitress who was very nice and the rest of the staff was super sweet as well. There were no more carts to hold ourwine bottle bucket so she placed it on the actual floor outside. They placed our appetizer on another couples plate instead andthen when she realized instead of bringing us another one to eat she just said oops they ate yours. My husband and I ordered thesteak to share for two. The steak came sliced already so they clearly can see what they were serving..the pieces were so fattylike not even edible and the side was basically a bowl of 8 French fries. My husband and I left starving! For the price of thebill I’m beyond disappointed. We were a group of 8 for the family style lunch. The food was amazing from oysters to lobster roll, etc. We all loved everything... and will definitely be coming again. Highly recommended. Read more
4/5?? View and ambiance. Probably the best restaurant view in town. 1/5 ?? Meal, portion & drinks. I had the duck, like I... usually have in these kinds of place. I paid 40$ for my plate, and I am still hungry. Not impressed. As for the drinks, myguests and I decided we wanted a bottle of white wine. We had to rethink our choice 3 times before landing on a bottle that wasin stock. 0.5/5 ?? Service When we finally found a bottle of white wine that was actually in stock, I had to ask for a icebath. Our waitress just “dropped” the bottle on the table. Furthermore, I had to serve my guests and myself the wine morethan once during our meal. Chef Danny Smiles is the man. Came here for a friend’s 30th and we got treated like royalty. Danny met us outside and escorted... us in and then came and see us a few times, while also giving us the nicest table in the restaurant. Regarding the food, uniqueand absolutely delicious dishes, along with a romantic setting and top-notch service, definitely recommend to those wanting achange of scenery or in the Hudson area! Very good service, she really knows her dishes. We came for our anniversary with me and my boyfriend. We took le choix du chef... which is 125$ per person (if you choose that option, the other person has to have it as well) . I was hesitant but I gave it ashot. Kind of oily for my taste, and too pricy for what was given. There was 4 service and dessert. Read more
