They were probably short staffed. You had to order at the kiosk. There was not a sign to inform you of this.. you found out... after waiting at the register for 10 minutes... also we ordered a Frappe. I did inform the lady what we ordered. After 8 minutesshe she did not see the order. We went back to the kiosk and ordered again.. after a 5 minute wait, I asked if she saw theorder.. she got upset and asked me what was ordered and we said frappe again.. she then stated the machine was not working..please fix the customer service.. I felt sorry for the employees...all two of them. They were so short-handed it was hard on them to get to everyone. I went... inside because the drive-thru line was so long. I had to ask to be waited on. Then I heard about their being short-handed. Igive them a 4 star rating though because my smoothie was delicious and the two employees running the store were doing all theycould to get orders out at the drive-thru. Although I was ignored and had to ask to order, a big no no (ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE YOURCUSTOMER!), I think they were just overwhelmed. 4 stars for being willing to run that store almost single handedly! More often than not the employees are rude as all get out....minus the gentleman that is at the front window most times I go. He... is their saving grace. That and they don't get my order wrong. Moat of the time the strawberry shakes are as illusive as a blackunicorn. Drive through was very slow, had to repeat my order several times. It usually a little bit better than how it was today. So I'm... not holding that against them, they always have frappes and the pull apart doughnuts when we visit so I will continue to visithere when I'm on this side of town! I commend their efforts! Sign says 24 hours but they are always closed between 2am and 4am. Too bad the true hard working people can't stop and get a... meal on the way home but the fast food industry workers want $15 an hour. Update: 7/16/22.. Pulled up at 3am and they said theywere closed. Change your sign, change your website, change your staff or change your owner/management. I will constantly leavea bad review when I receive bad service. I will edit your hours and every option I have to give you a negative review tillsomeone steps up to do the right thing.. Which should be to close this location till the owner understands the customer isalways right. This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and as far as I'm concerned, Hueytown and surrounding areaswould benefit from the closing of this location. If I could give negative stars, I would. Update: 11/13/22.. nothing changedexcept the orange cones in BOTH drive through lanes to indicate they are closed. Seriously, close this location permanently asno one wants to work. I'd rather visit the off name brand in Russia than to attempt to give this location another chance.Corporate greed at its true finest. McDonald's, you Seriously got a lot of explaining to do when it comes to who can open afranchise. I guess the " new normal " is keeping a sign that says open 24 hours a day and closing for a few hours.
