I?ve always liked Ghengis Grill in FloRida & Colorado. This location is so filthy. I can tell they were understaffed and the... poor server with the orange dyed hair was running this place carrying it on his bruised, sore back. He was sweet. Bless him. Theestablishment was filthy ?like the Burger King on Torrence avenue. The food looked so sick and slimy and the bathroom areasmelled like an elephant has been using the bathroom / petting zoo ?. The owner really needs to teach the employees about safe food handling. We arrived 45 min before closing and service was slow... at best. The staff was sweeping and mopping then expediting our food without washing hands. One waitress was cleaning the bararea and then mopped, while taking dirty dishes to the back she stopped and grabbed my wife?s meal and brought it to our tablewith the dirty dishes in other hand. Another sweeping mopping them wiped his nose and then passed out food to another table. We were there until 15 min after close and not one person did I see wash hands, and they never left my eyesight. We visited this place for the first time and I really enjoy the concept. It's like a buffet butYou pick uncooked protein and... vegetable and you season the food as you wish and also the sauce you would like. I had the 3G sauce it was laced with garlicMmmmmm. Daphne was our server she was a delight, very good conversation and attentive to everyone. Daphne literally walked isthrough the whole process. So! Haven?t been here in years so some things have changed. Food came out amazing. (You eat what you choose so yeah lol) I can?t... remember if the sign outside was ever on before but it would greatly help imo,it seems closed compared to the rest of therestaurants all around. Place seemed understaffed, there used to be a hostess always ready for whoever entered but throughoutthe night people seemed to stand by the door waiting and waiting, including me. A couple of lightbulbs weren?t working, floorwas a bit dirty. It?s the details I miss when we would get asked what type of base we would like at the end of the line,so whenmy waiter asked me at the table as I was sitting down it threw me a bit off. We love to go here for a nice dinner. The price is affordation. I love the idea of making my own bowls, seasoned how I like, the... fresh ingredients of my choice (veggies only). We always get the dynamic shrimp also. The drinks are good and the staff areattentive. Read more
This place has gone downhill dramatically. We have given this place 3 tries when we were in the area but each time we leave... disappointed and hoped next time would change. Staff were unprofessional everyone either sitting at a table together talkingwhile we had to wave someone down to give us our refills and check on us. They took our order and didn't know certain bases wereout of stock until we went to the cooks. They don't have gloves anymore for people to wear and the meat, vegetables and saucestations were horrible and messy. The floors were wet even at our table and they didn't care about appearance or service. Wewon't be coming back to this location. I guess we will make the drive to woodlands area instead when we crave Genghis which havecleaner environments, better staff, better service and better stations. Read more
