It was pretty much exactly what we expected. We're Canadian and it was our first time here. The food was exactly as expected,... greasy diner food, but in a good way. I really enjoyed the hashbrowns, the eggs were cooked to my liking and waffle was fine(though I have to say I wish they had maple syrup). Our server was fantastic and very nice (apparently she isn't normally fromthis location and was covering a shift). I will say however, I had joked with my girlfriend about waffle house's reputation forfighting and chaos online... and there ending up being an actual shouting match between two staff in the chicken. Though she andI laughed and it didn't make our experience negative, I feel for the staff that have to work in an environment like that, it'snot right. When I arrived, I was the only customer but soon other customers starting arriving. At no point was the restaurant full, but the... time I went was between lunch and dinner. The restaurant appeared clean and the staff was friendly. The cook had no issues withme asking him to cook the bacon a little longer as I like it very crispy. I ordered the All Star Special with eggs over medium,bacon, wheat toast, grits, and a blueberry waffle. I had them pack the waffle to go because it was so much food. The grits andbacon were excellent. The toast was nicely buttered. The eggs were just a tad too runny for over medium but still had a goodflavor. The menu is not extensive and the food is not fancy. Would be a 5 ? but they no longer give United discounts since they went 'corporate' went to this specific location for just... that. Other than that the food was great, staff is awesome and we had a blast. They do need to bring back the jukebox tho! I walked into this location around 4am. Instead of being greeted with a Hi or a how are you the server said "is this to go?" I... replied with "hi how are you?" She immediately followed up with " is this to go?". When I said yes she informed me that theydidn't have to go containers. I said okay ill eat here and sat down. She yelled from across the restaurant "what chu drinking"?I didn't want anything, so she walked over and asked what I wanted to order. I said "um can I at least have a menu" Customerservice was absolutely trash, they didn't answer the phone, one server had just arrived (black car) to the store but sat in hercar on the phone for about 10min. Eventually, I got up and walked out. I couldn't see myself giving my money to this disgustingestablishment. The grill cook seemed very friendly and was engaging in conversation with the customer. UPDATE: The responsefrom the "owner" looks like a scam link. I will not be clicking on that link. Don't typically review fast food places, but our cashier (his nameplate said Joy) was so friendly and really made our day. We... were driving from the airport and needed to use the restroom and grab a bite. He really took the time to explain the menuoptions and wowed us with a few magic tricks and friendly conversation!
