My family and I stopped in to get some coffee after going to the Strawberry Festival carnival. There were 5 or so people in line... when we walked in, which is probably unusual due to many more people than normal being in Humboldt because of this event. Therewas a lady taking orders who was so joyful, genuinely kind, and welcoming. Her pleasant and calm attitude was infectious. Evenin the chaos of many people and orders, she was a source of peace. The gentlemen filling the orders were efficient and kind. Iwill stop here every time we're in Humboldt from now on. Read more
Great place! Wonderful atmosphere! Great sandwiches, soups and Ice Cream! People are super friendly and accommodating! I guess... on weekends they have live music and we really enjoyed the "barefoot singer" very much! Outdoor seating is available and itlooks a a section could be used for private dining, meetings or parties! I wished we lived closer! Read more

In search of great coffee or tea? A short 15 minute drive from Jackson Tennessee is the Coffee Shop. Run by the affable owners... Guy and Tammy, this is a charming place to have excellent coffee and real home baking. We had a quick bagel and coffee andhopped back on the road, clutching two scrumptious apple and pecan muffin. When I think about a restaurant?s performance, I typically consider value, quality, and experience/customer service. Value: the... value isn?t great. A macchiato and chicken melt (no side) was $15. Macchiato at decent coffee shops are usually $4.50 to $5.00.The sandwich for $8 should come with a side of chips, fruit, or similar IMO Quality: coffee quality was excellent. Care andattention went into the preparation of the macchiato. Quality ingredients. The food quality however, much worse. This has beenpointed out in other reviews as well. My sandwich was more or less assembled from precooked (warmed) chicken and basicingredients. Nothing special here. Chicken melt was extremely dry. The sandwich wasn?t dressed with a sauce, one mustard packetprovided. I think the owners can really improve the overall quality of the food Experience: excellent customer service,friendly staff, live entertainment is offered at specified times. The coffee shop is decorated well and there?s plenty ofseating. Doesn?t feel like you are cramped in sitting with others. I had court here and it went faster than expected. What a perfect little place to have a good strong cuppa coffee and enjoy some... outdoor seating. It was a delight. It was clear that the owner is the one that waits on you and she was delightful. Everybodywas kind and I got to recommend the loaded biscuit and gravy. So it?s an open face biscuit with good sausage on it covered inscrambled eggs and cheddar cheese smothered in gravy. Now my arteries may never recover but my taste buds are still thanking mefor the splurge.
