The worst experience I have had at a restaurant. We arrived around 9:30 after going to Hershey (before the Hershey park dinner... rush). We were told the wait would be 45 minutes, but we were seated in 15. After the waitress took our drink order, justwaters, we placed our dinner order around 10:15. An hour passed with no food, no check in from the waitress, no apology fromanyone. Every staff member avoided our table as all other tables who arrived after us got their food, ate, and left. Even whenwe wanted new waters after 15 minutes of waiting we had to flag down the waitress and ask for them ourselves. This service wasabsolutely terrible and it cannot be blamed on ?Hershey park crowds? as we got to the restaurant an hour before the park closed.In the end we ended up leaving after waiting an hour with no food and no recognition by anyone. Very long wait time after being seated. We ordered food and then waited at least an hour after ordering. Was never checked up on... by our waitress, never visited by a manager (not even sure there was one working, because how could you mismanage a facilitythat horribly?) After being basically ignored while others came after us, got food and finished their meals, we left. Wecould've driven 2 hours to our home Applebee's and gotten food before we did at this location. We were staying close to the restaurant for a trip to Hershey and our first night in town was a Friday. We went to the... restaurant for dinner and had about a 20 minute wait around 6 PM. The food was hot and delicious. So well cooked and wellseasoned. My drink was a little strong, but I am a lightweight so that's not saying much. I have to say, I have been toApplebee's in the past... and this restaurant is a prime example that not all restaurants in a chain are the same. Great service, from a competent staff. The bartender was also serving tables and handled both jobs, effortlessly. Good food... and nice atmosphere. Food prices are ridiculous, but that's on Biden, not Applebee's IMHO. Read more
OMG!!! My husband and I went to Applebee's Grill + Bar in Pennsylvania Friday night.. our server was everything, our food, our... drinks was out of this world. I honestly didn't think about pics until almost the end. I believed our servers name was Brianna.I would most definitely recommend this location and hope that they list the location cause I'm not from the location was justvisiting. I had a Southwestern chicken bowl, some sort of sherbet alcoholic drink, my husband had the full stack of ribs (spicy???? but good as HELL), blueberry Long Island iced tea alcoholic drink. Words cannot express how bad our experience was. Apparently the kitchen was short staffed, yet there appeared to be three... hostesses and an army of servers, all standing around, chatting amongst themselves, diddling with their phones (!) while wewaited for over an hour to sit at one of the many empty tables. Torture is the word that comes to mind. Once we're seated, ourfood comes out soon enough, but was way too salty, too cheesy, and way too expensive. Of course, I would never, since I'vereached an age that knows better, have chosen Applebees, but we let the child choose. Never again. Read more
Everything was horrible. I used to work here about 20 years ago, and I have good memories of the food. I wanted to like it so... bad, but everything about the experience was terrible. The only pros were that I was seated right away and my diet Pepsi wasgood. I ordered French Onion Soup. It came out room temp and the cheese was cold, and not even melted under the oven for acrisp finish. I told my server and she took it back... where they microwaved it. While the flavor was decent, all of thecheese was just melted in the soup and I didnt get the experience from the that I wanted. You know how it is when you reallywant one of your favorite dishes. My entree was salmon with coleslaw and "homestyle" cheesy broccoli. Once again, items werecold. Also, what is home style about sprinkling some shredded cheese that is not even melted on top of my cool broccoli? Thesalmon tasted weird, but it was probably just frozen. My server acted very cold towards us and acted like she couldn't waitfor us to leave so she could go home. She did bring me a second drink, which I did not need because I wasnt planning on eatingany more... My date got a steak that was flavored well, definitely frozen, and the same underwhelming broccoli as me. I wouldnot reccomend... ever. Read more
Only reason I gave them a 4 is because they no longer have my favorite dessert (apple chimmie cheesecake). It had been several... years seen I had been to an Applebee's because the one near me is no longer there. The service was great as was the food. Read more
