Aug 2022. - Glad to have Pizza Hut as an option and grateful to be able to sit and eat in the dining room. No waitress and no... plates but we were able to eat off napkins. Everywhere and almost everyone is cutting corners financially these days. Read more
Extremely pleased with this establishment. I am not from this area and originally wanted to try something local and unique.... Shocked no one delivered or knew the area. Settled to go with Pizza Hut in hopes they delivered; which they did. Employee tookmy order was very friendly and patient since trying to coordinate delivery. Quoted 45 minutes but delivered in 30 min. Pizza wasoutstanding and super hot. Delivery person that was early ended up delivering to our hotel room and didn?t have to call me. we stopped by there once on the way back to the hotel from spending the day at Hersey Park. they put sign on the door that the... dinning room is closed. the lady told us we would have to go through the drive through and order or call in a order. becausethere was no servers because there schedule. or they sent the servers home because it was to slow. when we got there. there wasa long line of cars through the drive through. if they schedule servers to stay late they might even make more money. because mei'd rather go to a sit down restaurant to get some thing to eat from walking all day. the second day we drove by looked likethey had no one at all it looked like they were closed. i think they should be closed during the day and open up in the eveningwhen people want to go some where to sit down and eat during the week when they are at Hersey Park all day since the parkcloses like at 8 PM. I ordered online for delivery at a nearby hotel. I waited in the hotel lobby for over two hours of which I attempted to call but... the phone would not go though and I never got any other communication from the store. Two and a half hours after the pizza wassupposed to be there I made it to the store where the lobby was closed and the same phone number was posted outside the door. Ithen went through the drive through where I met Michelle in Hummelstown PA who blamed me because they arrived 20 minutes after Iplaced the order and supposedly called. However, the call log shows nothing. She then told me there was no way that I tried tocall the store because the phone system went down 20 minutes before when I have call logs from before. She then offered 2 1/2hour old pizza or a refund. I took the refund due to her overall attitude and fear of her purposely giving food poisoning orretaliation. Then someone else called 2 minutes later and the phone worked. Overall, have better costumer service andcommunication with guests. Read more
Dumpster Fire! Stay away! Ordered Pizza I guess through a 3rd party which was a terrible experience to start. Family waited... over 1.5 hrs for its Pizza $70 worth and then when i call the store guy says ? The door dash guy did not show up? Wait what?Door dash? I did not order from door dash. ?we use them to deliver? How many 3rd parties are being used here. He then says ?You can come pick up or cancel ? I said we?re you going to let your customers know, he says ? don?t have time? lol Informed that was F ridiculous and he says ? I?m canceling your order ? Fine with me went somewhere else. Ordered 2 medium pepperoni PAN pizzas but saw after my family already started eating that it was not pan pizza but hand tossed.... We were charged extra for pan pizza (which is better than hand tossed because, as you can see by the picture of what we got, thehand tossed is incredibly thin and basically crispy, sauce soaked grease biscuits) and we did not get what we paid for. When Icalled to see what can be done about the mistake since I was already home, Rodney (who said they were a supervisor/manager) toldme that a $10 credit will be associated with my phone number for my next order for that location. I have never heard of themdoing this and the credit does not show up on the app, so I am wondering how to redeem it. If the credit goes through the nexttime I order, I will update this review, but it didn't sound like Rodney cared at all about their employees mistake. As for thepizza itself, since it was hand tossed, i personally didn't like it. There were globs of sauce on some slices and next to noneon the others. It looked like we had extra pepperoni than normal, so they might have switched our order with someone else. Mywife will eat anything so she was happy regardless. Last year I gave them a 5 star review that I have since deleted because ofthis. I used to think the staff was friendly and they hadn't messed up my orders before, so I don't know what has changed. First off, the food was good and made well so I gave them stars for that. However, we went looking to dine-in and maybe do the... lunch buffet they used to offer. Well, they didn't have the buffet, no real surprise there, but the dine-in was really just theto-go experience eating in the restaurant. I understand only 2 people were working, but pre-COVID that seemed to be enough towait/bus tables, run the buffet, and handle other orders. Now, I'll give them a pass on the buffet, but I wasn't really lookingto dine-in and have the a to-go experience. What I mean by that is, bottled instead of fountain soda, paper plates, pizza servedin a box, and no silverware. If staffing is an issue the solution should be clear at this point ($$). Sure prices may have toincrease, but most business are taking on these challenges and making progress. Until this location returns to offering fullservice dine-in we we'll only be returning if we want something to-go, but even that seems unlikely since we rarely, if ever,get it to-go. Read more
